He is such a hardworking man together with his wife. I like it that they always smile, they are adorable. The work of the old masters is wonderful to see. The project is coming along so nicely. Looking forward to seeing part 3

Que maravilloso trabajo me encanta ver como se preocupan de rescatar su cultura, la arquitectura antigua, sus muebles..... Verdaderos talentos...... Me hubiera gustado mucho ver todo el trabajo terminado
One of the best renovation project I’ve seen. Can we , please, get a part 2.

The grandpa is an excellent bricklayer, I'd have him work for me anytime. California USA Never saw the total finished house what happened?
Wow that is quite the stump there. What a tough job. That place is huge. It will be really beautiful when it’s finished. Hope to see the finished project. ❤ That artist is amazing.
It's unfortunate that I can't see more of this project. I am mostly interested in the wall that they worked on in the last 20 minutes of this segment. I like the layout of the cut and chiseled bricks. Now, I like to know what will become of the outer side of that same wall.
Good on you mate, great job 👍 Australia 🦘

It was abandoned for 200 years and inside they removed a suspended ceiling with fluorescent light.
Amazing art work and great craftsmanship it’s along process to restore an old Chinese traditional house great work is there part 2 on this magnificent house ? 🙏💕👍❤️🇦🇺

Thank you so much for the love and support! The next parts will be released soon, so stay tuned!
And by looking at the cielings in this beautiful home, I can tell it has not been 200 years of abandonment. Some of the other things in this home say not 200 years. So how many actual years.
👏👏👏🤩🤩🤩
Can anyone explain to me why these homes have separate buildings? Why, you have to go outside to use the other building, what does it mean?
Cooking/laundry in one area, sleeping quarters, and entertainment/contemplation area. My best guess.
Traditional historical chinese houses 四合院 (Sìhéyuàn) have specific arcitecture. In short, they are composed of 4 separete one-storey buildings, oriented south, west, east and north, with a courtyard in the middle. The house was surrounded by wall, with main gate on the south east part. North building was the main house for the masters chambers, since its windows face south and get more sunlight. In the past other buildings were used for minor members of family, or servants, and separate kitchen/storage. Kitchen located in a separate building or far from main rooms used to be widespread practice in many historical houses in different countries, not only china, due to high danger of fire. The number of rooms and size of home severely depended on the imcome and status of family, but the basic principle was like that.
No end in this video me no like
cabin? more like mansion. 200 years? more like 20-50.
Thank you for sharing your opinion! It's true that the house has been renovated and expanded, so it might look more like a mansion. However, the history of the house still holds great value. Thank you for watching and supporting my channel!
