Diontae Johnson is an upgrade over Agholor. The Ravens needed to upgrade the wr position. I would’ve wanted Courtland Sutton better since he is a big body type of receiver but Denver is playing decent and probably ain’t willing to trade him at this time. I would take Diontae.
Cooper Kupp was on the trading block. But he started playing very well for 2 weeks and Puka came back and they snatched his @$$ from the trading block. Baltimore should have struck the moment the Rams were willing to trade. Kupp, Flowers and Bateman would have been nasty.

He was always the best player on the diamond, court, and field. There are not too many people that can do that. Diontae if you see this shout out from the 813 man you are a true inspiration to us

As a longtime Ravens fan, I love that we made an offensive move and prioritizing what Lamar needs to make the offense as unguardable as possible. We have to stop freaking out over the defense. All we need is a consistent pass rush and adding a pass rusher could help, but so many teams win with strong offense and Ravens are shaping their identity as an offensive minded team and I like it.

Because not only do we add depth/veteran that isn’t over 30 like we are a custom too, we only swapped picks, and the kicker is IF we don’t retain Johnson this off season we get a compensatory pick. Diontae will be an upgrade over Nelson Aghalor. He's not a consistent separator and drops some crucial passes. Diontae solves for that. Hopefully he's OK with that limited role and doesn't mind blocking bc that's what he's gonna be doing 90% of the time.
The Ravens need a pass rusher more than anything else right now. Zadarius Smith would help and he's been there before. Clowney was an important part last year and is missed.

As a life long ravens fan I didn’t necessarily think we needed this move, HOWEVER, it’s brilliant by EDC, why? Because not only do we add depth/veteran that isn’t over 30 like we are a custom too, we only swapped picks, and the kicker is IF we don’t retain Johnson this off season we get a compensatory pick. Diontae will be an upgrade over Nelson Aghalor. He's not a consistent separator and drops some crucial passes. Diontae solves for that. Hopefully he's OK with that limited role and doesn't mind blocking bc that's what he's gonna be doing 90% of the time.
The Ravens need a pass rusher more than anything else right now. Zadarius Smith would help and he's been there before. Clowney was an important part last year and is missed.

I agree with DO. Every Ravens fan knows this HC and OC have a real propensity to panic and abandon the run the millisecond they're trailing. Or sometimes they just come into a game wanting to zig because they think the opposing DC is expecting them to zag, which usually falls right into the opposing DC's hands in the playoffs. If this is about depth. Awesome. If it's about running a COUPLE more 11 personnel when they need to. Awesome. But if this incentivizes Harbaugh and Monken to abandon the run even more quickly than they already do, they're playing into teams like the Chiefs hands

I don’t see this as a change of identity at all. I see this as a “we know our defense is trash and know we need to be able to get downfield FAST in close games that depend on the final drive”.
