- Yes. It’s true. I’m moving out at 14. 👀 IM GOING TO BOARDING SCHOOL 🥳Yes, I’m not not being forced. I’ve worked towards going to boarding school for over a year and I chose this and my parents support me haha.

Like I want to go to boarding school because i just sick of public school ( I feel like I could learn some much more in boarding school) did you apply to a boarding in the us or out of America? I want to apply somewhere in England but I’m not sure?? Give me some advice girl I’m so confused if I will like it or not.
Plus I don’t how to do my thick black hair and I usually get my hair braided so I don’t know what I’m going to do? I’m 13 right now but, may 31 I’m going to 14 going into high school so I don’t really want to ruin the high school experience for myself but then again I still want to go to boarding school. What should I do?
Omg I never saw this! Welll ik my school’s office or multicultural affairs brings in hair stylists for black students. Ik ppl who have used the stylists but I haven’t yet. There are also black girls at my school (like me) who are willing to do people’s hair for a reduced price.
I’d say just figure out what works for you in terms of your schedule/school year breaks. Like when you go home for breaks plan to get your hair done for coming back to school. It also helps if you educate yourself on how to take care of/style your natural hair bc sometimes you’ll be in a position where you can’t get your hair done immediately.
So just experimenting will help you get to know what works for you in the long run.

Congrats con exeter! I have a friend going there in the fall as well, and I’m going to boarding school too so this was helpful.
aaaa i wanna go to a boarding school so bad! are there certain requirements you need to have like grades? 😭 i have no clue, just that it would be an amazing experience for myself and my mom (lol i know she would enjoy me out of the house) plus the life lessons you learn on the way. :))
I've been going to boarding school for 3 years and my school doesn't require your grades or certain requirements, I think you just need to pay full amounts in order to go and it also depends on whether the school has space available
It all depends on the school you're attending but most of them are pretty much the same
