Off topic question to this video but im considering buying a downpipe for my s5, currently stage 1 93 octane with you guys and been looking at black friday sales. If I went with an IE DP over the 034 DP would the 034 tune not work with the IE DP? Is the 034 DP worth the extra 400ish dollars over the IE one? Also how would I go about to upgrading my tune to stage 2 I was a bit confused on where I would purchase that while already having a stage 1 tune. Thanks!!
I'm about to order your intake + superd inlet package, but folks in the b9 community with this larger inlet pipe running stock tunes think it perhaps increases turbo lag. They have no evidence but their butt Dyno, which is why I'm asking you guys directly. Is that untrue and it's perfectly fine to run with stock tune + p34 intake? This answer will influence my purchase. Thank you!
The intake and inlet kit has zero way to increase lag, as it reduces restriction going to the turbocharger allowing the turbo to spool easier. I'd take those "butt dynos" with a grain of salt.
@034MotorsportUncut precisely what I imagined and thanks for the prompt response. Adding it to my cart now! Also I have a B9.5 2024 that just came off the lot new in September 2024. Your website mentions some 2024's can't be ECU tuned? Also has 034's team cracked the TCU or made progress on this so I can buy that as well with Stage 1?
@@ModernMan23 It's possible your 2024 ECU is tunable, however later model TCUs are not yet tunable at this time. You're welcome to buy the ECU software and attempt the flash, and if it fails we can refund. Unfortunately there's no way to know if your ECU is flashable without trying it.
I have a pretty out of the ordinary question I am in California I am looking to getting the dongle all the 034 goodies pretty soon here for a b9 s5 would I be able to run a pure or 810 on a stage one? With all supporting mods? Would there be gains? I’m wanting to go 750 or 810 but at that point should I just want to run stage 1 sorry I will contact support for all my wild questions but just wanted some input with that being said 100% will be going full 034👍
You will need to flash our dedicated Stage 3 calibrations for the upgraded turbochargers you've mentioned. The car will be in inoperable without appropriate software.
