For those who are wondering why both New and Old players alike hate Koroks; New players are forced to carry those fat bastards to their friends, OR have to go out of their way to find them. Just to expand their inventory. Old players, or those who had 100% Breath of the Wild (Precursor to Totk), had to collect ALL 900 KOROKS, and the grand prize was the Master Korok LITERALLY GIVING YOU A GOLDEN SHIT CALLED Hestu's Gift. So, Old players crucify those bastards for making them waste their time gathering those trinkets. (Mind you, you had to do outrageous stunts, and hoops just to discover them)
The korok physics trials were the worst for me in BOTW because the god damn rock would _never_ go in the direction I wanted. The smaller ones would catch on invisible terrain frequently.
It’s so fucking good. They effectively more than doubled the size of the world, and the caves/wells that you can explore pretty much perfectly hit the same vibe as grottos in OoT/MM
I highly recommend it if you're serious about giving it a chance. Story is pretty neat, even if you don't get all the Zelda timeline stuff it's fine. The gameplay speaks for itself.
TotK is going to breed both the best engineers and the worst war criminals. You got people making robots that pet dogs and you got people emulating the aerial supremacy of the US Airforce. Truly an amazingly terrifying time to be alive.

3:41 to explain why people hate the koroks in BOTW and TOTK essentially the developers hid 900 Koroks in BOTW when you only need 441 to maximize out your inventory and in TOTK they added in 1000 Koroks total which means you have 200 of the backpack ones that you have to reunite with their friends and 800 just out and about but you only need 440 total to fully maximize your inventory slots
I think the reason why people hate Koroks so much was because in the original breath of the wild where you had to collect 999 Korok seeds and when you where in the Korok forest after giving them to the great deku tree you literally get GOLDEN POOP for collecting all of them.
@@ricomannen it's because it's tied to the inventory capacity, so you have to do them to max it out, but with the recent addition of the backpack koroks who need to be brought to a location by building a machine every time, it gets so annoying because the reward is, as opposed to 1 Korok seed, you get a grand total of... *_2_* seeds! 22:50 The answer to where in the timeline? Simply put, none of them! Its an alternate universe with its own history. Though many concepts remain its still an AU. Thus why certain things exist, but are placed differently than the past games. why things look so drastically deeper, and why the zonai are just now making a first appearance. Its not that satisfying its true. But its frankly its a good way to push away from established lore and characters in fear of breaking the main timeline cannon. Thats pretty much the cannon to that, although i love the theory is that "Hyrule warriors: Age of Calamity" is a union of the 3 main timelines and the alt. universe closing the three timelines and bringing it down to 2 timelines. Now that Brian has seen just how crazy the constructs can be, it's time to step up his game in his own playthrough XD

It's honestly really nice to get to see Brian geek out about something he loves.
fun fact about rail grinding: You don't need a minecart in order to do so. Just hop on a rail with ur shield at your feet & link lock in place
Fun fact you can read Zelda's diary in the new game and it explains that link is silent to remain strong and to not lose composure.
@Leeloo_the_fox oops I guess but that wasn't the main point of the comment anyway.
