I think I've figured the Silverback Gorilla's combo out.....just in the critical areas that give him a big advantage.....take notes. Lightweight valvetrain Lightweight but strong bottom end pieces. A decent amout of compression ( 12:1 and above ) Cam is ground to make power to 9000 rpms + 6000 stall convertor that flashes to 8000+ because he leaves on nitrous Geared to run 8500 rpms through the lights Notice that it revs like a lightswitch? A heavy, street style engine with no compression in it can't do that. And the fire coming out the headers proves that the cam timing and LSA are helping make power on the top end ( cam timing used for in cylinder heat management.....keeps it alive with big kits.....thats why you see nitrous racers with candles coming out the pipes.....the one's you don't are pushing it to the edge. )
