Great video and unbiased information. I do own the frameset and recently ridden it at GMR/GRR climbing to Mt Baldy. Compliance made it more enjoyable..
Thank you for the review. Since this bike came out, I have been mystified that more people have not reviewed it. In fact, almost nobody. This fits perfectly into that super popular genre of budget gravel or all-road bikes that seem to get tons of attention (e.g. the thousand Poseidon brand reviews.... or even that kind of awful Ozark Trail bike). State definitely gives you good bang for the buck. More so even than Poseidon, of which I am a Redwood owner. Problem is Poseidons bikes are too heavy. You are definitely getting a much lighter bike if you go with State for not that much more money.
Alex, first of all thanks for your time not only stopping by to watch but leaving some words. I looked in to Poseidon several months back when shopping for this need which ultimately ending up with the State's Carbon All-Road shown in this episode. I gotta admit, I was pleasantly surprised how well this thing rode with or without the price tag in mind. This will be a long term keeper for sure in the garage.

Great video!
Thank you so much!
Gravel bikes need clearance for 50s. That allows for 47s with room for mud.
😊
Can you fit 700x50's in ?
I believe 45mm max on 700c. 55mm on 650b.
@@DiabeticCycling thanks! maybe 50's would fit be a tight squeeze
Still waiting on aethos review.... 😢
