It wasn’t until my grandma died in Dec of 2022 after I received the Eucharist at her funeral that I felt like I was ready to talk to God again. We were protestant at the time, so we didn't know orthodoxy existed and thought "that must be some kind of Russian catholic church." Several years later and we move to Oregon so we can start a family. I start looking into church history and find a nearby orthodox church. It's called St. John the Wonderworker and I later learned that it was named after St. John Maximovich, who help them start the little parish in the 80s. I like to think St. John saw my wife and I sitting across the street, waiting for our bus, and marveling at the Golden spires of his church, and helping to guide us to orthodoxy.

Both the Catholic Church and Orthodox Church are the valid church established by Christ. I would recommend opening your heart to both of these churches.
You are correct to seek the Orthodox faith, as it is the true faith. Look up the nearest Orthodox church to you and email the priest to begin. Do not listen to ecumenist heresy like the comment above. There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism (Ephesians 4:5), one Gospel and NO other, not made by man, but given to the apostles through the revelation of Jesus Christ, delivered ONCE AND FOR ALL unto the saints. (Jude 1:3) The Roman Papist’s innovations of Absolute Divine Simplicity and the Filioque render that entire system entirely irreconcilable with the Orthodox faith unless they renounce these things. Read the Cappadocian fathers whose theology was approved at the first Council of Constantinople in 381. The Church rightly defended the Divinity of the Holy Spirit and taught Essence-Energy Distinction. God bless you. ☦️

Orthodoxy is complete demonic heresy
You should wish that a truthful reflection of the bible would spread, whether that was orthodoxy or not.

@@lets_wrapitup Absolutely. Learn the Bible while you still can. The Mandela Effect is impacting it as well.
@@lets_wrapitup and where did the Bible come from? (Hint: the Church)
This is brilliant. Starting my morning off right by watching this instead of checking social media. I was born and raised Catholic but when I became a teenager I became confused and thought everything I was taught was a lie. It wasn’t until my grandma died in Dec of 2022 after I received the Eucharist at her funeral that I felt like I was ready to talk to God again. Even then, I was hurt and confused, asking why did he take my grandma before I even had a chance to say goodbye? I started watching videos about Christ, praying more, eventually downloaded the Bible app, and now I have a copy of the New Testament which I got for free. I feel a lot more close to Christ and everyday I want to know him more.
My 10 month old son and I went to adore the heart of Jesus Christ while in Holy Adoration yesterday.
I'm not so much climbing up the mountain of saints but out of the valley of sinners. St John pray for my heart.
Catholic here, but this is beautiful! Long live Christ the King!

The part about St. Nicetas was the creepiest thing I've ever seen! Just hearing the demon had me chilled and near shaking.
Dont be scared of demons, they are WEAKER than the Lord.
it was quite unnerving
Incrivel, não?
as a person who's heard demons before you are 100% right and i felt the same when i actually experienced one speaking to me.
(If you're wondering how it went basically , suddenly my sister went out of the room and went to my parent's room and i told her to keep the door open but she didn't listen and soon after I felt a horrible sense of dread whenever I looked at the door , I heard footsteps down the coridoor so I quickly turned around to the wall and covered myself with my blanket after a few seconds I heard the DEEPEST. DEEPEST. DEEEPEST voice EVER in my life on my sister's bed near the window as if it was standing up and it was speaking in some reversed language which for 1 word sounded like polish (i am polish so maybe it was speaking to me in reversed polish) but i also feel like it was speaking some ancient language like hebrew? i remember i was literally sweating so badly and i was literally crying from fear. i've had several experiences with demons in the past and it's horrible all the time , I just wonder what I would've seen if I uncovered my blanket. this was when I was becoming more of a better christian btw))

The profundity within your work touches the soul, softens the heart, and gently guides one back onto the narrow path. May the good Lord bless you all the days of your life.
I can't help but watch the St. Nicetas chapter over and over again. Sadly, I can see myself falling into the same temptation.
Isolation?
The temptation to be and act like more than you are? The temptation of worldly knowledge? Or are you talking about the temptation to disobey authority?
Incredibly edifying. Thank you to the Harmony team!
as a protestant, I love orthodoxy and orthodox people, so close to GOD our father, which is something I couldn't say for many protestants I know

Several years ago I lived in San Francisco with my wife (then girlfriend). We'd catch the bus downtown at a bus stop right across the street from the Holy Virgin cathedral in San Francisco. We were protestant at the time, so we didn't know orthodoxy existed and thought "that must be some kind of Russian catholic church."
Several years later and we move to Oregon so we can start a family.
🙂❤
I pray regularly for the reunification of the Catholic Church and the Orthodox Church. Thank you for your work to glorify God. ✝️☦️
@macemasterwith God all things are possible. And union comes in degrees. We may be able to effect higher union.
@macemaster Be careful with word if you know what orthodoxy means. Tradition is one of the pillars of the Church. God be with you my eastern brother, from a catholic.
That doesn’t seem super helpful. If what the Bible says about the church is true then Christians are already as united as they could possibly need.
Orthodox do not believe in the Papacy....at all. What part do you want to be reunified?
Never will we ever forgive or forget what the catholic church has done to eastern orthodoxy. UNIFICATION NEVER.
i am so deeply moved by your video..thank you
Please don’t stop these videos, I’ve just been introduced to orthodoxy and I believe not by happen stance as I was instructed in my agnostic ways to ask Jesus to reveal himself to me. You described my life journey.
I've been in many places (states) noted in this video.
I had rejected the simplicity of the message of Christ, looking for 'more' or 'power'.
I journeyed for many years, picking up lots of deceit and baggage.
By God's grace and mercy, He brought me back to the simplicity of the message of Christ.
And the more of His message I accept, the more burdens and worries fall off me.
I shared this video on my instagram story, may Lord bless this channel.
I currently don't attend church beacuse i dont agree with Catholics and there is no orthodox church near me
Both the Catholic Church and Orthodox Church are the valid church established by Christ.

I have no words to describe the excellence of this work here. Seriously, this must has been the best thing i ever watched in my whole life. Everything about this piece is perfect. The script, the edition, narrator's voice probably has the best "reading", diccion i have ever listened to.
