My story is similar. I've been praying all the mysteries of the rosary, each intention is for the conversion of my family and I to the Catholic Church. My spouse is pretty anti-catholic so I'm hoping Our Lady will change her heart 🙏

I converted to The Catholic Faith from Anglican and pray The Holy Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet daily . I can honestly say my life has changed for the better , my relationship to God is closer than ever before . I am better able to resist sin , I meditate more on the life of Christ and Our Lady's part in His life . Thank You Blessed Mother , Viva Cristo Rey

The rosary is powerful. Unbeknownst to me, my mother had given me my grandmother’s rosary after she passed away in 1992. She put it in a box which I put in my basement. 23 years later I discovered it. I didn’t even know what it was. I learned how to pray it, and then got baptized into the Catholic Church in 2017. My grandmother told my mom that she wanted me to have it. I believe God placed that rosary in my home many years ago and like a tree it rooted itself into me and my soul. Now I leave rosaries everywhere I go because they are like tangible seeds of faith. You plant them somewhere and they grow.

We committed to pray the Rosary every single day since June of this year. My husband has only missed one day and I haven’t missed any. I will never go back. Our lives are so much better in small ways, but also in big ways. We are now expecting Baby 3 and closing on a better house next month, the Month of the Rosary. I will never not pray the Rosary every day.
The worst part is I KNOW for a FACT that things are better when I pray the rosary - but I still neglect it so much. Truly my own worst enemy and self saboteur.
Please read my testimony in the comments. I had the same struggle. But I overcome it with the help of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I haven't stoped praying since that grace.
First stick to a decade a day, soon it will grow to two effortlessly, and it will grow from there. Another way to never miss it, is to offer it for someone that is important to you, remembering that prayers can be sent thru space and time.
I was raised in a very Catholic family, but in my 30's I got very far from the catholic practices. I knew I needed to come back, but I had no strenght to do it. Until a serious problem knocked my door, and I desperate prayed the Novena of The Sacred Heart of Jesus composed by Saint Pío of Pietrlecina. The Novena contemplates asking for three graces. I asked the solution of my porblem, of course, but as I still had two more graces to ask, I asked for beeing perseverant in the prayers, minding specialy the Rosary. The last day of the Novena, while I was finishing the prayer, I realized that in each of the last 9 days I also had prayed the Rosary, and an enormous and intense sense of love to God invaded me. I don't know how, but I knew, very clearly, that there was no other treasure in this world worthy to look for than God, know Him and love Him. I was so happy, imensely happy. Suddenly, I felt - just in a spiritual way - the presence of someone vomiting hatred arround me, yealling of rage. It was so intense that I started to fear that invisible presence, and that fear made my life very unconfortable during a month, in which I was hardly able to go upstair to attend my baby at nights or simply beeing alone. Even that, the Grace of God was assisting me and I was no able to left my prayers again, I didn't want to! The grace urged me to pray. I needed to pray, and many times I felt "cravings" for prayer. I have to say that during that time I received many spiritual (non visible) consolations that helped my to "survive" the tough temptation I was going trough. After criying a lot and asking to Our Lady to stop those temptations that were taking my peace off, I managed to go to the confession (I wanted, but always something happened ) and after the confession my peace returned! Observe that I also had temptations to not say tho the priest anythig regarding my fears, because I didn't want to confirm to whom was arrasing me wat happened in my mind, which he is not able to read... nonsenses, my body was transparent enough regarding what was happening on my mind, and clearly was another lie to obstruct the sacrament of penance. If you do not have strenght enough to pray every day. Ask for it!
This is absolutely wonderful! I only pray it once a day, and I have a difficult time with that at the age of 74. I have the time but I lack The concentration. Please pray for me I would appreciate it.
Your story about you as a kid during the Rosary gives me hope for my children lol It's like herding cats getting them all gathered for the Rosary, then they make it very apparent that they'd rather be doing anything else. 😭 Lord grant me perseverance.
Is it possible to pray it with motions or dance versus just sitting still? Make it more engaging and fun. Children often learn better when multi tasking. Scripture says the little children were drawn to Jesus. I have to believe Jesus must have been filled with joy, expression, dance and fun along with that of duty and obligation… my son is 25 so just speaking from my experience teaching kids church. The more engaging seems the more desire. Though I get it takes from the reverence maybe… creatively possibly combine reverence and fun. Or sing the prayers? Just thoughts.
I do a decade of the rosary with the children before bed. (One day is for the beginning) They do like the rorsary, but a whole one is often just too much for them. In 6days we have a round done. It's not a whole one in a day, but I try to give positive assosciations to the rosary.
There's a rosary with art on RUclips and my kids really love seeing the different images (the background music also is calming). We're not at the point where they actually participate through the whole rosary, but it has been much better than other times we've tried to pray.
I didn’t go to confession for a year and a half, and by the time I did go, it was like a 50 lb. burden off my life. I decided after that, to go once a month. It’s made such a difference!
About two years ago I started to pray the rosary every day, I was not always successful as far as doing it everyday but I was committed to do it. Sometimes I just forgot, sometimes I didn’t feel like it and sometimes I was just too tired. It changed my life little by little. I was raised Catholic and got away for a while, I am back now and I feel so strong about my faith. I will never get away from God ever again. I go to church every Sunday, I understand how the sacrements are important, especially confession (which I was so scared of) I now pray the rosary every day and started to incorporate the Divine Mercy Chaplet in my everyday as well. God is real and unfortunately evil is real as well. They say the rosary is the best weapon against evil. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
“If anyone does not wish to have Mary Immaculate for his Mother, he will not have Christ for his Brother Never be afraid of loving the Blessed Virgin too much. You can never love her more than Jesus did.” ”Jesus honored her before all ages, and will honor her for all ages. No one comes to Him, nor even near Him, no one is saved or sanctified, if he too will not honor her. This is the lot of Angels and of men. St Maximillian Kolbe pray for us.
There’s a thin line between honour and worship my friend. Let us honour her by all means but guard against turning honour into worship, for ONLY God is worthy of worship.
@@mark7428 "She had relations with her husband after Jesus was born" We know the arguments for and against this and you don't know this for sure. Jesus called her woman the few times he addressed her in scripture because it was common and typological. You also don't know that for sure (that it was because of potential idolatry) You're literally speaking FOR him here. Her importance ABSOLUTELY does not end with his birth; she literally changed his mind at the wedding feast when your modern ears picked up on the "woman" address. Queen of Heaven is clearly demonstrated in Rev 12 where right before that John was talking about the ark of the covenant. Yes, it also means the Church and Israel...that's what's neat about prophecy but the Ark typology is clear as it also is when Elizabeth greets her "how is it that the mother of my Lord should come to me?" You're making a lot of bold assumptions, my friend. I get the confusion about brothers and sisters though, even though original reformers like Luther didn't play this. God bless you.
I pray the Rosary daily and sincerely enjoy doing so. It has brought tremendous joy to my life. My wife is Catholic; I am not because I've been divorced and my first marriage was an extremely contentious separation. Hence, having to go through the steps of annulment is far too painful. In addition, my current wife and I go to Mass every Saturday. I truly wish and pray that I could become Catholic, but my prior divorce has been a significant roadblock. I am not implying that becoming Catholic should be easy; I only wish it were easier. Please Mother Mary intercede for me and all that are reading this pray for me. God bless, Chris
Praying The Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet daily brings us peace, strength and drives demons away. Praying The Rosary is contemplating Jesus Christs life, each decade reflects different events. Comprised of verses Mt 6:9-13, Eph 3:21, Lk 1:28, 42-43 & Jm 5:16. Rosary Center online gives The Mysteries to reflect on while praying. Powerful weapon against evil!!!
Our Blessed Mother has said that the Rosary is the most powerful spiritual practice one can perform outside of the Mass. And since many of us can’t go to Mass every day, praying a daily Rosary is incredibly helpful for spiritual growth, repentance, and healing of ourselves and the world. Mary has instructed all of the faithful, through many apparitions, to pray the Rosary every day, for the salvation of souls.
Fr Chris Alar has said that if you cannot attend daily mass [this is not a substitute for the Sunday Mass] saying the Rosary is like the liturgy of the word and the divine mercy chaplet [I offer you the body blood soul amd divinity....] is a way to contemplate the liturgy of the eucharist.
My favorite thing about Father Gregory is how not only his intelligence resonates, so does the love he has of being a priest. Ascension is great at finding priests with these characteristics.
I pray the rosary everyday, it’s the best thing I can do for my life, feeling closer to God, praying for Priesthood, Priests who have helped me in my journey through life, with its ups and downs……Father Gregory, I love your videos on you tube…..God Bless…..
I started praying the rosary around 8th grade. I truly believe it has transformed my life. Meditating on the mysteries has brought me closer to Jesus and Mary. Through the rosary, I have discovered more fully who Mary is in relation to God, to the Church, and to me. I have done Fr. Michael Gaitley’s 33 Days to Morning Glory, a Marian consecration. I truly believe that Mary is my (spiritual) mother, and she is the gateway through which I hope to reach eternal life with Jesus. Pray the rosary. Good things will happen.
Yes, you should. Before I became a Catholic, before I found a sponsor, before a lot of changes to my spirit, worldview, attitude, and way of living, I began by praying the rosary. In Latin (because, hey, why not, while I’m at it!). I won’t pretend I’m more consistent than I have been, but I can testify to it being a powerful tool to open your life to the Lord, who will grace you more powerfully than you may understand. I credit sources like this and Bishop Barron, who explained the rosary to me so that I COULD begin praying it in good faith, because I was in a Protestant mindset where it’s widely misunderstood and reviled as idolatry. God works miracles with the hands of his body, the church, and I’m grateful to God for such good pastors. I pray for their good, and for all our leaders to hear ken unto God. Without him, all our efforts to do good in this world will fail, but with him and all our shortcomings, the world can thrive in goodness.
Solid advice Father. I do caution folks to be sure to focus on diving into the mysteries more than simply checking a box or doing it because a particular apparition said it was really important. I say this because as someone who struggles with anxiety and can be scrupulous at times I can turn the Rosary into more of a charm or spiritual insurance or a mere obligation that I feel pressured into doing. Put that all aside and focus on the mysteries so that the graces can flow freely and have their effect. God bless!
To keep my attention and genuine I usually try to do a mystery a day of the rosary. It can be difficult with attention issues to pray it in its entirety, so I usually pray little praysers throughout my busy day when in need and when thankful. Its a good way to make up for not having the mental fortitude to withstand 30 minutes of rosary. I'd rather my full attention on God rather than half of it
They’ve been announcing it for so long. If I lived in the states I would absolutely go. I hope it’ll be an excellent time for everyone who goes. I’ll be praying the rosary from home
Was absent from the Catholic Church for a very long time snd right before lent this year something kept repeating in my head “pray the rosary “ started praying it and next thing I was going to confession and now a much better catholic than I was over 40 years ago . Have not missed a day since . I also do the seven sorrows chaplet snd the st Michael chaplet and going to start back at the Devine mercy chaplet . I have a lot of catching up to do as the saying goes .
I prefer saying the rosary while walking up and down the corridor at home to avoid sitting back-pain. i remember saying the rosary in Latin in the early 60s with my mother .
The 5 decade Rosary is great to get started with since it only takes about 20-30 minutes, but the fullness of the Rosary is all 15 decades which is more like an hour. If you are doing 0 decades every day, absolutely do five, even that much endears you to Mary and changes your life! But if you are doing 5 consistently, push yourself to do the real whole 15 that were requested by Our Lady at Fatima, and you will have a much deeper and more mature spiritual life.

With all due respect, Father, I cant seem to shake the images of you chuckling about the smell of new books. You have hearty sense of humor, Father Pine. Please forgive the aside. I will get over it. Have a blessed day.
Can I recommend the Servite Rosary as well? You say 7 Hail Mary prayers while meditating on the 7 Sorrows of the Blessed Mother. She has worked miracles and taught me so much about Jesus and myself since I started this devotion this summer.
NOTES for later reference Precepts of the church: - go to Sunday Mass - receive Holy Communion at least once a year - Sacrement of Confession at least onec a year (once per month recommended) - support church's temporal needs Daily possible indulgences: - pray 30 minutes in the presence of the Blessesld Sacrement - make the of the stations of the cross in a public church or oratory - read sacred scripture for 30 minutes - recite the rosary of the blessed Virgin Mary in common (see handbook of indulgences)
I started with the rosary and saint michael prayer, I do a mystery everyday. Then i added the divine mercy and a few others. I pray about 40 to 45 mins a day in the morning. I love it. I'm trying to build my relationship with him. I've had a calling to pray the Rosary for a long time, it even got stronger after my grandmother passed away in the beginning of the year. She herself was very devoted to the rosary and since I built a prayer life, there's not a day that goes by that I don't do it . 🤍🕊🙏
@MomHarper - The Rosary is a meditation on the Scriptures, while the Divine Mercy is a personal offering of the Holy Mass. St. Dominic organized the three part Rosary in the 12th century, and St. Faustina received the Divine Mercy chaplet just before WWII. Together, it works like we have just attended Sunday services. But you still need to receive the Eucharist.
Canon law asks seminarians, religious, and clerics to be formed by the rosary. We should pray the Rosary daily, as the Saints and Church has recommended.
I don’t believe I ever prayed the rosary, though I received one when little. I did not know anyone who did though they were given as gifts yet never used. Now, in seemingly many around me praying this as a form of spiritual protection in warfare, I may just start. Though in starting it tends to feel awkward. T If I can in Passion and Understanding, this would be a blessing. To do anything out of duty becomes burdensome. Sometimes to get to Passion, walking through duty is needed first to find freedom. We will see. I believe many or most of us could use protection, spiritual - emotional- physical Healing and strengthening in our Spirit so we are able to draw nearer to Christ. Its been on my heart as something maybe I give a shot at for the month of October… each day for 31 days and see if I am drawn nearer to Christ, His love and His heart. If so, that would be a Great Blessing from God. ❤️🩹🙏❤️
@@rosrychaplet Yes, they do before mass. My desire is for it to be a personal intimacy with God so I plan to do it alone though I may join a group periodically. Easier to arrange just God and I. We will see how it goes. 🙏
You are so right about sometimes needing duty to get to passion. I encourage you not to give up too soon just because it feels like you're not getting anything out of it!

With all due respect, if you listen to Our Lady of Fatima, the answer is quite simple. She said, "The faithful must pray the rosary every day. " She would not ask us to do something we could not do, and she reaffirmed the rosary in each appearance at Fatima. Pope John Paul said, "The Fatima message is addressed to every human being." And she warned of great evils to come upon the earth if we didn't listen. "If my requests are not heard..." Everyone should read THE SECRET OF THE ROSARY.
Do you need to say the rosery with others to get the indulgence? if you do would if done online with a group count? how about the EWTN rosery at night or in the Am?
Once upon a time a certain King gave to His chosen servants the free gift of vast riches to each one. In the process of time men under the pretense of being the King's servants rose up and went to the descendants of the chosen servants saying If you desire to be heirs of the free gift of riches you must follow us to earn those riches and do your part. After following those deceivers, the descendants found they had no inheritance of vast riches and even lost everything they seemed to have. They inquired of the King for their riches. The King said Did not I say my riches were a free gift but you did not believe me instead working to earn them. Then the King cast the deceivers and descendants into prison for ever. Ephesians 2:8 KJV "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 not of works, lest any man should boast."
@@CatholicDefender-bp7my Mark 3:22 KJV "And the scribes which came down from Jerusalem said, HE (Jesus) has Beelzebub, and by the prince of the devils HE casts out devils." JESUS said in Matthew 10: 24 KJV "The disciple is not above his MASTER, nor the servant above HIS LORD. 25 It is enough for the disciple that he be as HIS MASTER, and the servant as HIS LORD. If they have called the MASTER of the house Beelzebub (devil/satan), how much more shall they call them of his household?"
I didnt know that about the indulgencies !!!!!!!!!!!! I do some of those now!! Do you get two if you do a full holy hour? Or does it stop at the first half hour? Just curious.
There were some reforms in the indulgence dispensation by pope Saint Paul VI, in order to retreat from the numerical approach to the finality of it that is to foster greater union with God, in the case partaking His Nature through Good Works. So you can only receive one >plenary< indulgence a day, but you may grow in merit and likeness indefinitely. Remember, every good action is eternal and keep everyone a bit farther from sin, even decreasing a bit the gravity of the sins that would be committed; and makes every other good action cheaper and more tasteful, even though Goodness should suffice Itself.
Praying the rosary on its own or a holy hour for 30 min isn’t enough for a plenary indulgence. There are 4 other conditions. One can only receive one indulgence a day
Hey ascension present. I have a question need your opening on this. So I try and pray a Rosary everyday MY coz I can't go for daily mass. However Dad always tell me that don't pray the Rosary instead partaken in a Mass on RUclips. Like the EWTN masses (not Live) What do you think. Should I continue to pray the Rosary or Should I partaken in online mass?
Masses in person are always FIRST priority, because it's the Liturgy and receiving the Eucharist (unless you need to go to Confession first). I would order the Rosary second and the online Masses third priority, if these devotions are what you're drawn to.
@@tryingnottobeasmartass757 when I tried, I would say the mysteries for that particular day out loud. I had no sense that anyone or anything was listening. It felt like I was just filling the silence. I felt quite foolish.
@@markantonelli53, that's okay. That's normal. We trust God. He listens whether we feel like He does or not. Remember: how we feel about reality does not change reality.
@@tryingnottobeasmartass757 if I’m going to feel foolish while praying, then why pray? There must be something wrong with me since I don’t want to pray. I’ve never been able to see the presence of God in anything that happens
@@markantonelli53, ignore your feelings, and pray anyway. The devil wants to destroy you, and he will use any thing he can against you. In this case, he's using your feelings against you. The point of prayer is not to feel wise or foolish or even necessarliy to sense God's presence. Its purpose is to worship God, thank Him for His gifts, offer to Him our lives, intercede for other people, tell Him about our needs, and to learn how to know Him better. Both our feelings and our lack of feeling are irrelevent to these purposes. One does not become a more charitable person by feeling charitable. One becomes charitable by acting charitably whether one feels charitable or not.
Rosary is necessary. Chaplet is optional, but at our times, with more and more offenses to Our Lord, we need ask Mercy for those who doesnt know what they are doing... opportunity for conversions... for our conversion...
You may choose whatever devotions you want to incorporate into your prayer rule. If you like the Rosary then do that, if you prefer the chaplet of Divine Mercy do that, or if you like something else entirely do that. "We are not saved by prayer rules, but by our willingness at every moment to fulfill God's will instead of our own" - Archimandrite John Krestiankin.
I'm quite sure not going to and missing a Sunday obligation of Mass is a mortal sin. Confession and holy Communion once a year, may be the minimum to remain in communion with the Church, but its not the minimum for remaining in communion with God. What is this guy talking about???
Does the Church think our daily rosary, done at home (if single, done alone), does not help those in need (and ourselves) as well as if we did it with others (in common)? If it is not very effective, is it just as well not to do it - and only read scriptures (the only thing on the list that is not dependent on others or when the church is open)?
@@blujeans9462 Fr Pine didn’t discount that point, in my opinion. He is correct in saying that if prayed with others or in a church it meets one of the 5 conditions for a plenary indulgence, one must do the other 4
Not on its own. There are many conditions to a plenary indulgence, and it can be looked up. But, offering one’s suffering to the sufferings of Christ is nessecary in a Christian life
Sunday Mass + Communion 1/year + Confession 1/year + Support the churches temporal needs = 4. Not 5. I am so bored and disappointed with life right now. OH! I did a quick search. The missing precept that he didn't mention is- You shall observe the days of fasting and abstinence established by the Church. Fr. Gregory Pine O.P. You have just been schooled. Who is editing your videos?
He also said confession once a year if you’re contious of grave sin. That’s not true, if you’re contious of grave sin go immediately. Once a year is assuming you don’t commit a grave sin
To be honest I do like Fr. Gregory Pine. But he goes into theological concepts so deeply sometimes that he over complicates them and ends up missing their simplicity.@@JamesMathison98

Ask for it!
I just started praying the rosary 4 times a day.
That is fantastic, but I got like no time to do that many 😢
@@Saintvanillagorilla a way to help with that. Whenever I’m in my car driving to places instead of listening to music I pray a rosary.
This is absolutely wonderful! I only pray it once a day, and I have a difficult time with that at the age of 74. I have the time but I lack The concentration. Please pray for me I would appreciate it.
Are you a THEIST? 🤔
If so, what are the reasons for your BELIEF in God? 🤓
Impressive!
Your story about you as a kid during the Rosary gives me hope for my children lol
It's like herding cats getting them all gathered for the Rosary, then they make it very apparent that they'd rather be doing anything else. 😭
Lord grant me perseverance.
Do just one decade with them. As they get older, add more
@@Eternallyhopeful7788 This is a very great idea
I do a decade of the rosary with the children before bed. (One day is for the beginning)
They do like the rorsary, but a whole one is often just too much for them.
Yes, it is THE best ✨Our Holy Mother is THE best life coach you could ever have ❤️
I highly recommend St. Louis de Montfort's book The Secret of the Rosary.
I ordered this last week and am looking forward to reading it
Started the RCIA course yesterday…I was definitely led on my Catholic journey by doing the rosary daily.
God bless you - from a convert
I didn’t go to confession for a year and a half, and by the time I did go, it was like a 50 lb. burden off my life. I decided after that, to go once a month. It’s made such a difference!
About two years ago I started to pray the rosary every day, I was not always successful as far as doing it everyday but I was committed to do it. Sometimes I just forgot, sometimes I didn’t feel like it and sometimes I was just too tired. It changed my life little by little. I was raised Catholic and got away for a while, I am back now and I feel so strong about my faith. I will never get away from God ever again. I go to church every Sunday, I understand how the sacrements are important, especially confession (which I was so scared of)
I now pray the rosary every day and started to incorporate the Divine Mercy Chaplet in my everyday as well.
God is real and unfortunately evil is real as well. They say the rosary is the best weapon against evil. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Mary, mother of God, pray for us. ❤
“If anyone does not wish to have Mary Immaculate for his Mother, he will not have Christ for his Brother
Never be afraid of loving the Blessed Virgin too much. You can never love her more than Jesus did.”
”Jesus honored her before all ages, and will honor her for all ages. No one comes to Him, nor even near Him, no one is saved or sanctified, if he too will not honor her. This is the lot of Angels and of men.
St Maximillian Kolbe pray for us.
"De Maria nunquam satis"
Saturdays are a big, big grace day for me. Confession followed by Adoration, the Rosary then Mass. 😊
Perfect 👍🏻🙏🏻
Fr Chris Alar has said that if you cannot attend daily mass [this is not a substitute for the Sunday Mass] saying the Rosary is like the liturgy of the word and the divine mercy chaplet [I offer you the body blood soul amd divinity....] is a way to contemplate the liturgy of the eucharist.
@@belle2157 wowwwwww that’s crazy
The Blessed Lady requested us to pray the rosary every day. We should treat her request like it came from God.
I pray my rosary every day. It brings me tremendous comfort and peace and it gives me strength.
Fr. Gregory Pine is a national treasure. God bless you
I started praying the rosary around 8th grade.
Grateful for Fr. Pine!
God bless!
I started praying rosary recently i can testify that am growing little by bit it gives me strength and gives me peace whenever am down 🙏.
Champions of the Rosary is an amazing book.

Just returned home from Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage in DC. Awesome, spiritually enriching day!
Thank you Fr. Pine!! This is very helpful.
Love the Rosary, love the Office, simple as.

Beautiful chapel btw!
Thank you Fr. Pine for sharing more of an insight for praying the rosary. I struggle to pray the rosary daily.
Should you pray the Rosary every day? Yes, yes and YES!!
“Yeah, the Rosary, it's awesome” [4:20] 😀☦❤
What an incredibly insightful and helpful video. Thanks Fr. Pine..you and Fr. Mike have been, and are, truly gifts from God; have been for me anyway.
I think it's good to add praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet.
How beautiful!
Thank you for your words!
IM gonna start praying the rosary every day
Our Lady asks it of us, so yes.
I've been waiting so long for him to come back and give us a video. Love Fr. Greg.

Fr Pine! I’ve been injured so for 12 years I can’t drive - I have to find rides. I love to sit with our Lord in His actual Self in the Host. I can’t find rides very often. So I’ve been sitting with him when He’s Live on RUclips at my home. Am I just ‘faking’ visits with Lord Jesus??? Thanks! I’m enjoying C S Lewis program! Read the 15 promises of the Rosary. I have obtained some of the promises by praying the daily Rosary.
I love saying the rosary which I could say it all day but I have the time but I do say them
Can I recommend the Servite Rosary as well? You say 7 Hail Mary prayers while meditating on the 7 Sorrows of the Blessed Mother. She has worked miracles and taught me so much about Jesus and myself since I started this devotion this summer.
Is that the Seven Sorrows of Mother Mary?
Yes.
Yes of course! You can pray the original Rosary, the Divine Mercy chaplet, the Seven Dolors Rosary - all will help you in your spiritual life
"Everyday" means commonplace, usual, quotidian. "Every day" means every day.

Precepts of the church:
- go to Sunday Mass
- receive Holy Communion at least once a year
- Sacrement of Confession at least onec a year (once per month recommended)
- support church's temporal needs
Daily possible indulgences:
- pray 30 minutes in the presence of the Blessesld Sacrement
- make the of the stations of the cross in a public church or oratory
- read sacred scripture for 30 minutes
- recite the rosary of the blessed Virgin Mary in common
(see handbook of indulgences)
Sometimes I switch it up and do Lauds & Vespers of the Little Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary instead of the Rosary.
This should be a 10 second video: answer is "yes"
I started with the rosary and saint michael prayer, I do a mystery everyday. Then i added the divine mercy and a few others. I pray about 40 to 45 mins a day in the morning. I love it. I'm trying to build my relationship with him. I've had a calling to pray the Rosary for a long time, it even got stronger after my grandmother passed away in the beginning of the year. She herself was very devoted to the rosary and since I built a prayer life, there's not a day that goes by that I don't do it . 🤍🕊🙏
What’s the difference between the rosary and divine mercy?
@MomHarper - The Rosary is a meditation on the Scriptures, while the Divine Mercy is a personal offering of the Holy Mass. St. Dominic organized the three part Rosary in the 12th century, and St. Faustina received the Divine Mercy chaplet just before WWII. Together, it works like we have just attended Sunday services. But you still need to receive the Eucharist.
Amen
Canon law asks seminarians, religious, and clerics to be formed by the rosary. We should pray the Rosary daily, as the Saints and Church has recommended.
I don’t believe I ever prayed the rosary, though I received one when little. I did not know anyone who did though they were given as gifts yet never used. Now, in seemingly many around me praying this as a form of spiritual protection in warfare, I may just start. Though in starting it tends to feel awkward. T
If I can in Passion and Understanding, this would be a blessing. To do anything out of duty becomes burdensome. Sometimes to get to Passion, walking through duty is needed first to find freedom. We will see. I believe many or most of us could use protection, spiritual - emotional- physical
Healing and strengthening in our Spirit so we are able to draw nearer to Christ. Its been on my heart as something maybe I give a shot at for the month of October… each day for 31 days and see if I am drawn nearer to Christ, His love and His heart.

I try ptay the rosary everyday. However i feel there is the spirit of anger behind it sometimes like " why arent you giving me what i want"
Do you need to say the rosery with others to get the indulgence? if you do would if done online with a group count? how about the EWTN rosery at night or in the Am?
Tbh, my life *was* miserable before i started the daily rosary. Lol

What to do if I dont see any effects of praying? Everyone says they see miracles when they pray and I dont see any improvements.
God answers prayer in different ways --- sometimes yes, sometimes with a no...and then other times with a 'not now' :-)
When you say to pray the rosary daily do you mean to pray all 4 mysteries everyday?
In what ways did it changed you?
Soooooo..... should I pray the rosary every day?
I wonder why Jesus never taught to pray Rosary. Why so many mysteries like mystery Babylon?
The prayers of the rosary are scripture verses! The rosary was created as a means for illiterate people to pray the 153 psalms.
Scripture has mysteries, does that mean Scripture is demonic?
If no, why?
@@deussacracommunioest2108Good to know thank you!!
@gmacch Thank-you! U Solved a huge confusions. I do try and read the mass reading of the day, but only sometimes

Can u choose between praying the mysteries of rosary and divine mercy of rosary?
Rosary is necessary.
Chaplet is optional, but at our times, with more and more offenses to Our Lord, we need ask Mercy for those who doesnt know what they are doing... opportunity for conversions... for our conversion...
Why not both ☺️🙏🏻
If I had to pick I would pick the rosary but thankful I don’t have to
You may choose whatever devotions you want to incorporate into your prayer rule. If you like the Rosary then do that, if you prefer the chaplet of Divine Mercy do that, or if you like something else entirely do that. @@CatholicDefender-bp7my can you explain ? 😀
Praying the rosary is second only to praying the mass
@@JamesMathison98 That's what I thought, but Fr Gregory said it is only consider an indulgence if it is prayed with others ("in common").
