If you’ve ever wondered how on earth I manage to survive teatime with Jack, here it is. It’s all about distraction!
From the infamous tea dance, all the way down to a good old fashioned game of ‘Jack GETS GOT’.
After tea, Jack usually winds down - so I really think she wanted to show you how she swings upside down when she wants to play…
Hopefully this provides insight for anyone that ever needs information on how to survive teatime with Jack the Nipper.

African greys are afraid and hyper vigilant about anything different. Probably a survival thing. If they don’t expect to even see a new pen somewhere they are freaked out about it.
While jack is getting farts blown on her back and does not care enough to turn her head to look. 😂😂😂 This is not different. Jack is not phased.
Jack is going to kill you in your sleep 😴.
