Hey Fatma. Love your videos! I have a question, maybe a video idea for you. I am not religious, I grew up Christian but left that a decade ago. I don’t really see myself committing to a formal religious practice again, but I’m definitely spiritual and draw a lot of inspiration from devoted folks like yourself. Islam definitely draws me. I even find myself saying inshallah and alhamdulillah to myself often, lol. Anyway, my question is, what would you say are the top lessons, concepts, encouragements etc that Islam offers a secular or spiritual crowd? Would love your perspective. ❤
Islam means complete submission to God. Once you become sincere muslim God will take care all your affairs, believe me. The greatest reward you will get is peace of mind. Being free from Depression and stress is the most sought after thing in life and Islam offers it.
Resilience - I think Gazan mothers demonstrate this more than anyone. Although we Muslims are as flawed as any human, the heart finds peace and contentment knowing that god alone is in control of our affairs- no one can benefit or harm us without his permission. Another concept in Islam is fitrah- which is the human natural born tendency towards righteousness - so you’ll often seen the secular world using Islamic concepts like duas and rebranding them as manifestation or karma. Islam is the religion of Adam and the continuity and harmony it has with other faiths (some which have lost their original meaning) is truly beautiful

One time I was getting boba by myself and it was in a big city yet a group of people was pointing me out saying “why is she by herself”. they said it in a foreign language but I understand it😂 anyways why do people in groups or on dates even stare at individuals riding solo? we out there content let us be 😂

The current situation we live in today is highly driven by economics; from home to work and the vice versa. This makes it difficult for men and women who have attained the ‘marriage’ age to be actively available in the marriage market and thus narrowing their chances of meeting suitors which can consequently make them unmarried.
You remind me a muslim girl that was my neighbor at university in Europe. She used to talk to me about religion at the beginning, then after weeks she changed a little and start coming often in my room. She ended telling me that she now want to live, and ended by sleeping with me 🎉 Sometimes i think its lack of self confidence or much focused in religion when you live in a country where people are there to make judgments on others live and religion.
