I have looked at a lot of videos in the last couple days on their Ultimate Griddles. I believe they are the best on the market right now. I have a brand new Blackstone and see no reason to change right now but who knows the future. I will be on the lookout for the PB 5 burner Ultimate. For sure! We have started using a little oil, which is recommended for nonstick (with some of these cooks), but for sure we will be using much less, making this a great “healthier” option!🤙🤙🔥🔥
Hey guys! Great video! One question with this new griddle.... Seems like the food slides around a lot more than on a Blackstone. Do you notice that? And, if so, does it cause any issues? I have an OG Blackstone that i love but keeping an open mind if/when i do need to replace it.

A long time ago ( 1954 ) anyway I was wondering can you guys make what we called onion sauce for hot dogs every one who sells hotdogs in NY has them. I can hear the Blackstone off to the side whimpering ever so quietly. As wonderful as the non-stick surface is, the food almost skates around the cooking surface where it seems like food manageability appears more difficult. Food seems easier to be tossed outside of the area where cooking food is corralled. Maybe it's because there is no precise tools for this surface and you can use only what you find that is similar.

We thought it may be an issue with control as well, but it’s actually been so much fun to cook on - Pit Boss does have some utensils on the way, and we will most likely incorporate some wooden utensils as well as heavy duty nylon spatulas into the lineup as well! Guy's... Did I hear correctly that you pre-cooked the fries in the microwave? If so how long did you pre-cook them for? I have the Blackstone 28" Rangetop Combo with the deep fryer, so I'm thinking if I pre-cook the fries in the microwave it would mean less time in the deep fryer and less oil absorbion. I saw a Sam The Cooking Guy video where he coated his fries with corn starch and then did a deep double fry at two different temps. I don't remember what the two temperatures were but they turned out great looking. The second fry was at a much higher oil temp.
Yessir! We cooked them for 4 minutes. We love deep frying our fires too, and always double fried. If I remember, we started at 225 for 4 minutes, and then we’d pull them. Once they rested for a few minutes, we’d put the fryer at 275 and cook the fries again, leaving them until the start to turn golden! Hope this helps brother!

What a coincidence, it's 70 in Florida and 7 in Michigan 😭 I'm fearful of firing up the griddle in so cold a temp. It's on the back porch so it's basically indoors (screens, not windows)
Gentlemen. Having a ton of issues with my smash burgers sticking to the cooking surface. I’m using 80/20 ground beef and cooking about medium heat. Any advice? Perhaps more oil on the surface? The still come out good, but I lose about 1/4 of the meat
Those fries look amazing! I like mine on the brown side in color; same way with potato chips but you can never buy them that way. The BS griddle will solve that problem 👍🏻
Definitely not a fan of the new griddle, I prefer using metal spatulas. But I think you guys are entertaining and make good food, so I'll continue watching.

Hey Gary! We are so sorry! We “eyeballed this one! Here’s what we used (approximations included) 2 chicken boneless breasts cubed 2 tbsp vegetable oil (for the griddle) Salt and pepper (to taste) Mayonnaise BBQ sauce Coleslaw Buns Griddle on med/low heat, lay oil, followed by chicken (when griddle is to temp). Cook and “chop” chicken (once chicken is beginning to cook through). Lay BBQ sauce (approximately 1/2-1cup) in the chicken and mix together. Pull from heat once mixed. Mayo on inside of the buns, lay generous amount of chicken on bottom bun, top with coleslaw and top bun. I hope I got this all right! Let me know if you have any questions Scott it.😂😂. A long time ago ( 1954 ) anyway I was wondering can you guys make what we called onion sauce for hot dogs every one who sells hotdogs in NY has them. As wonderful as the non-stick surface is, the food almost skates around the cooking surface where it seems like food manageability appears more difficult. Food seems easier to be tossed outside of the area where cooking food is corralled. Maybe it's because there is no precise tools for this surface and you can use only what you find that is similar.

Guy's... Did I hear correctly that you pre-cooked the fries in the microwave? If so how long did you pre-cook them for? I have the Blackstone 28" Rangetop Combo with the deep fryer, so I'm thinking if I pre-cook the fries in the microwave it would mean less time in the deep fryer and less oil absorbion. I saw a Sam The Cooking Guy video where he coated his fries with corn starch and then did a deep double fry at two different temps. I don't remember what the two temperatures were but they turned out great looking. The second fry was at a much higher oil temp.
Not speaking for the fella's, but first fry @325 and 2nd fry @375. 😋
Yessir! We cooked them for 4 minutes. We love deep frying our fires too, and always double fried. If I remember, we started at 225 for 4 minutes, and then we’d pull them. Once they rested for a few minutes, we’d put the fryer at 275 and cook the fries again, leaving them until the start to turn golden! Hope this helps brother!

Gentlemen. Having a ton of issues with my smash burgers sticking to the cooking surface. I’m using 80/20 ground beef and cooking about medium heat. Any advice? Perhaps more oil on the surface? The still come out good, but I lose about 1/4 of the meat
Hey fam! The meat will sear for sure when smashing the burger - what are you using to scrape the patties up?

Hey Gary! We are so sorry! We “eyeballed this one! Here’s what we used (approximations included)
2 chicken boneless breasts cubed
2 tbsp vegetable oil (for the griddle)
Salt and pepper (to taste)
Mayonnaise
BBQ sauce
Coleslaw
Buns
Griddle on med/low heat, lay oil, followed by chicken (when griddle is to temp). Cook and “chop” chicken (once chicken is beginning to cook through). Lay BBQ sauce (approximately 1/2-1cup) in the chicken and mix together. Pull from heat once mixed. Mayo on inside of the buns, lay generous amount of chicken on bottom bun, top with coleslaw and top bun. I hope I got this all right! Let me know if you have any questions Scott it.😂😂.
