I can't say I see Ruby siding with Weiss in this kind of situation. In fact, I see this as a good opportunity to make the fact that Ruby and Yang are sisters actually matter by having Ruby siding _against_ the guy who cut her sister's arm.
I always like Adam as a grey character, some sort of Magneto, Erik a jewish in a concentration camp and Adam in a SDC mine. You know, with al the brotherhood of mutants/white fang. And Blake could be a Xavier-like character. In fact, I love the idea of Adam being the one who trains Blake, a twist of the Xavier helps Erik show in X-Men First Class. It could be so cool seen a grey character that wants to protect Faunus whatever the price is, that hates humans for what they did to him, but accepting the need to work together against Salem.
Anything that would involve Adam and Weiss would be amazing. If they were to sit and talk that conversation could have amazing cinematography since both characters have scars. When Weiss is talking about how Adam’s extremism has hurt people it cuts from the same unscarred part of Weiss to Adam’s scar. And while Adam tells Weiss about the atrocities her own family have committed against Faunus it cuts from the clean side of Adam’s face to Weiss’ scar and near the end it’s just cutting between both sides of their faces. Because if you’re gonna drop a bombshell like that scar outta nowhere you better follow through with it.
This AMV is proof that Weiss and Adam should've interacted with one another in the show as it represents the potential of their interactions. For instance, as the AMV depicted, imagine an alternate reality where Weiss defends Adam who is being taken advantage of by Jacque for being a faunus. I'd eat that scene up right away. Round of applause for somehow turning what little time Adam had into what felt like a 1 hour storyline. The editing is not only pristine but also holds focus only RT wishes they had good enough writing for. Granted this is merely a shippost amv with a limited set of time and not a solution to fix the characters. There is nothing you can do with what has been done currently to fix a show like RWBY without starting back from scratch removing whatever initial inspiration was had. AMV itself has not only a most fitting song, but holds a thematic structure that was misused.

But then Weiss learns about the unfair treatment of the Faunus and starts distancing herself from the family name, eventually giving up the title as heiress to the company to Whitley. Adam is someone who is easily corrupted by power, and Weiss is someone who wants nothing to do with it, so she helps him. Eventually, when Adam gets caught and arrested, Weiss manages to free him with evidence against her father on the unfair treatment between the two races in the mines. With what little power she has as ex-heiress, Weiss helps Adam obtain equal rights for the Faunus and turns him into a better man. (sorry i just really love villain redemption arcs and this ship really excited me lol) (also Frostbite is a really cool name for this ship, i love it) (also also, i now have a new perspective on Adam that i wasn't expecting)
Somehow... I feel like this could've worked really well in the actual show if they'd done it right. And considering the connections between these two in terms of backstory, it's kinda crazy the show never even had them meet. Not that I'm complaining about the show as it actually exists, mind you... bro i stopped seeing rwby for a long while but yt recomended me your (this) video and i SO GLAD, i though some of those scenens were real with weiss and adam lol sick work buddy SICK WORK
*Looks at the description of the video.* Huh, i didn't know citizen soldier made this song. Also, this amv just had me, realize. A possible way, adam's and weiss's characters could had met and changed. Had adam not been so 'hateful.' I guess, you could word it. Also if he had been redeemed and not dead. Imagine had adam began to question, his own actions and morals through out vol's 4 and 5. And that by the end of vol 5. Instead of acting the way, he did. He realizes, he's no better then the humans, who hate the faunus. Causing adam to have a change of heart, so he surrenders. And because of that, ilia sees he's willing to change. So she trys and convinces blake to have adam join the main group. But the cat faunus ends up against it. (Due to concern for her teammates.) Untill, ilia mentions that she was given a second chance. So why not do the same for adam? Which causes the neko faunus to give adam, one last chance. (Then, after that vol 6 proceeds the same. Except there's arguments among the main group involing adam. Which leads to a fight between yang and adam. Despite ruby trying to stop the fight.) The fight ends with neither fighter winning. And adam ends up conversing with members of the groups. As he gets to know them all and visa versa. More specifically between Weiss and adam. After some trust was gained.Then, once the fight with atlas bitch happens. Adam acts spiteful yet more level headed through out the fight. Things end somewhat smoother then in the canon. (Sense adam isn't stalking blake.)

I loved every single second of this, from the brilliant scene changes (that made it seem like that was how it was meant to be in the first place) and they way you portrayed the dialogue so that it seemed they were actually talking to each other! I also loved how you made it seem like Adam and Weiss were in the same place, even though they never met. (How do you do that by the way? It’s amazing!! I want to get in on that now lol) And the ending made me still wish we did have some Frostbite in RWBY! I really think this is an absolutely stunning AMV, and I can’t wait for the next! Wow, this is great! I love that it looks like Weiss is with both Yang and Blake to fight Adam. I like the idea of Yang being there to confront Adam because of her arm but shit Weiss totally should have had an interaction with Adam as well, she has bigger base than Yang because of being Schnee as well as Adam being a part of White Fang. It would be great if Yang and Weiss both were there to support Blake and I just LOVE that it's captured in this video like that 🥺
Kinda hope they find a way to bring him back such a waste of a character, I don't complain about character waste in rwby cause its like stepping on legos all it does is hurt you more then anything else but Adam felt like they killed off just cause fans hated him and he was one of the best villains and had way more potential then any of them besides Salem
They could bring Adam back by having a human with a healing semblance find him and heal him, and he could have amnisia and while trying to figure out his past he runs into Wiess and the two could hit it off with Adam eventually meeting Blake and Yang with Adam remembering everything and having a rematch with them and in the end deciding to spare their lives and help against Salem.
I actually really like the narrative of this, two people fighting on different sides find themselves falling for one another against their better judgments and try to save each other only for one to die in the end... kind of a romeo and juliet type thing
I know this is old but i would like to point out weiss is the only character of the main 4 to never share a scene with Adam Blake and Yang are self explanatory and ruby has a few frames where she looks outside in v5 at Adam and Hazel but Weiss never did I think that that fact is BS that shouldnt be a thing

Kinda hope they find a way to bring him back such a waste of a character, I don't complain about character waste in rwby cause its like stepping on legos all it does is hurt you more then anything else but Adam felt like they killed off just cause fans hated him and he was one of the best villains and had way more potential then any of them besides Salem

This....was actually amazing......
They could bring Adam back by having a human with a healing semblance find him and heal him, and he could have amnisia and while trying to figure out his past he runs into Wiess and the two could hit it off with Adam eventually meeting Blake and Yang with Adam remembering everything and having a rematch with them and in the end deciding to spare their lives and help against Salem.
I honestly don't want him to come back, he was already ruined anyway let's not dig any further x)

I actually really like the narrative of this, two people fighting on different sides find themselves falling for one another against their better judgments and try to save each other only for one to die in the end... kind of a romeo and juliet type thing

Blake and Yang are self explanatory and ruby has a few frames where she looks outside in v5 at Adam and Hazel but Weiss never did

Some amvs you can just tell that the person who did them came across a really good rare-pair fic that got them briefly hooked on an entirely hypothetical couple and dynamic and they needed to channel it.
