Yeah it’s a bunch to take in but I’ll get it!! I just have to slowly buy my supplies one at a time since everything is so expensive!! Hopefully have some shells reloaded by the end of January!!
I noticed your final shell had the crimp sunk down pretty low inside the shell. They will work fine but depending on if there is a hole in the center of the fold and the size of your shot, you might loose some pellets. To avoid this you can use a thin cardboard over shot card on top of the shot before you crimp. Love your channel, keep up the great content!
You are correct. I have made changes since this video. Also I learned a lot more since day one. I also had to go up one more bushing for powder. It took a lot of that out. But that was day one. Look for more videos for sure. Thank you for watching and your support.
Just joined that group this last weekend. Saw a suggested Load All 2 video amd figured I'd look into reloading. It's a bit of an expense up front, for powder & primers at least. Have to source some components local if I make the leap.
It’s not all about price. It also about the hobby and quality control. You know what’s inside. Also look up for a used Mec 600 jr. They are even better.
Ive been reloading metallic for damm near my entire life and have i lot of practice. I recently got into shotshells due to price of buck and slug. I will say loading shotshells is a differant critter. With so many configurations it's a bit on the confussing side. Bought a few books and watched a lot of vids and im slowly expanding my knowledge. Ive loaded up several buckshot loads without blowing anything up. Not getting the patterns i need so i will start experimenting with different components to get the pattern down to at least 8 inches at 20 yards. Not much of a birdshot loader, shot is way to expensive to make it worthwhile these days, cheaper to buy the shells at wally world.
It's mind boggling to me why these content people can't "get a stand for the phone" they don't cost much, and it doesn't make them look like a goof. Just saying.
Great job explaining reloading! You looked like a trick shooter there! Thank you for sharing my friend!
lol Thanks for watching
I'm using the same recipe. I dropped the shot charge and shot loads on my digital scale and they were spot on.
Heck yeah
Great job you did great
Thank you
Just received my Lee load all a couple days ago!! Ready to get started in shell reloading!!
At first you fill overwhelmed but it gets better. The first shell you shoot that you made feels so good.
