This man is such a class act. I was lucky enough to see him 'duet' with Suzanne Vega. he seems completely unaffected - what a musician

We saw him last night with SV and it was very good. Leonard is in a certain class of his own.

Saw him and Suzanne last night. Phenomenal performance with just the two of them. If Andy Summers & Zoe Keating had a kid…

Just got to enjoy him playing at the Cutting Room Jan 7 and 8th...What a smooth guitarist, so amazing and so humble.

What wasn't mentioned is that most of the pedals Gerry performed with here were from the box of pedals found in BIMM's cupboard since the airline we had flown in on that morning 'forgot' to load Gerry's pedal board on the plane.

What does he pick up at about 3 minutes in - I'm not a guitarist so genuinely don't know - is it some sort of magnet ? I saw him accompany Suzanne Vega at a concert a couple of days ago and didn't know who he was at all, but was incredibly impressed with his ability and technique. His backing enabled them to play songs of hers I didn't think were possible without a full band.

Same as you Simon, didn't know the guy, but what a show he put on with Suzanne Vega. He really knows how to get the most out of a guitar, absolute legend it would appear. I also wondered what that item he used was....still don't know.

not sure if you're still wondering but he's using an e-bow by the looks of it, a sort of electromagnet kind of thing that lets the string ring indefinitely, good for that ambient/drone sort of sound

@@ProgEnjoyer397 I had forgotten all about this, thank you for the reply. I still think about that concert and the high standards of musicianship.
