Steve Atwater #27 of the Denver Broncos
    Career Accomplishments
    Denver Broncos (1989-1998)
    New York Jets (1999)
    8x Pro Bowl selection
    4x All-Pro selection
    3 Super Bowl appearances
    2x Super Bowl champion
    1989 All-Rookie Team
    1990's All-Decade Team
Pro Football Hall of Fame selection
He was instrumental in getting the Broncos their first Super Bowl victory. In fact, some would argue he could have been the Most Valuable Player in Super Bowl XXXII. His play was nothing short of stellar. He was credited with six solo tackles, one sack, a forced fumble and two passes defensed. Furthermore, his big plays came at the times when the Broncos needed them most. He sacked Brett Favre and forced a fumble when Terrell Davis was sitting out the second quarter due to a migraine. He batted down a pass at the line while blitzing that was intended for a wide open Green Bay receiver. Finally, during the Packers frantic charge in the final minutes, Atwater broke up a pass with a collision so fierce two players where knocked out. Had those plays not been made it is possible the Packers could have won the game.

Respect to HOF #27 Steve Savy Aty!
I was mad when Atwater switched back to 3bar after his first switch to robot.

B Jones Much Respect✊. I always hate to see a skilled position player switch out of the Og robot. It lowkey even makes it harder for me to root for that player. Idky, but it does seem like there are only a few of us who notice stuff like that and/or understand that both versions of the Og robot face mask is what’s needed to complete the ultimate field swag, but that facemask was originally meant for the most elite skilled position players only. NFL/NCAA really needs to regulate who gets to wear it cause IMO lineman and linebackers have no business wearing the old school robots. Idky, but some of those non-skilled position players can pull off getting away with rocking the new school robots.

It's a crime that it took the HOF committee to vote this guy in. You ask me Steve should got in before Ed Reed.

@bruhhh I think Troy Polamalu is the best of all time. But I not saying Steve Atwater was better than Ed, but Steve should have been in the HOF long before Ed. Steve wasn't just a big hitter he was a playmaker as well and could blitz as well get you 4 to 5 picks a season.
