This is a great performance of Losing Grip. The young girl who sang this with the anger of a teen is gone, and we now have a woman singing it. But it’s still Avril! Omg her voice is simply phenomenal. I love how she finds that emotion…the desperation. The angst. It’s all still there in the song. Her musicality is so much deeper and more mature now. She’s back, and the true fans are here for it.
@A R As an original fan, I appreciate her style through all of her album cycles. Whether it's Let Go, Goodbye Lullaby, Head Above Water, or Love Sux. What's your point?
At 2:50 I heard the young Avril way back in 2002! The LOST STARE scream is back! 😍 I love you Avril Lavigne! She nailed this song in it's original key ❤️ always a great singer❤️
2:50 wow.. just wow… that ‘lost stare’ is amazing! she was singing it with a growl back in 2005 and now I didn’t expect her to do the same but that spirit and angst never went away even after 20 years..❤️🔥
Losing Grip and Take Me Away are my two favorite Avril Lavigne songs! Avril Lavigne is my favorite female music artist, she is so talented!! Avril Lavigne is so gorgeous and cute!!! ❤😍
It’s pretty wild how much she sounds like alanis morrisette in the heavier parts of this song. Less whiny than the first album recording, she has got some pipes to make this powerful and meaningful. She doesn’t seem to have much stage presence with this song now though. Maybe it’s the focus on sounding great.
a great performance and good chat. she was definitely on great form at the this part of the tour. she seemed to miserable by the end of it compared to this.
Is she using a backtracking studio vocal of the entire song? Cause that would be sad, seeing as she didn't do that when she was performing this in 2000's.

They still are having Mel learn to sing deep like the real Avril. Miss you real Avril!
@A R How is it lazy to sing something in its original key...?
Anger is not just for teens though. Anger of a grown mature woman is much worse and lethal ...and she channels THAT kind of mature anger perfectly
This is my favourite song by her, the chorus is so heavy
This mature version sounds even better, more raw to me... The anger of a grown woman, the deeper voice and pure undiluted fury🔥
Her music will never die.

@@mofotoeslowjoe English isn’t my first language so I don’t really know the word for it so growl was whatever came to my mind so I wrote it
This mature version seems even more raw to me
One of Avril Lavignes best lives of this song

I am Sure alanis was her inspiration when she got vocal lessons aswell. Because both are from the same state.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
we miss Evan!!!!
Fantastic!
The verse to this song sounds a lot like Dido - Thank You.
why am I hearing a backing track around 3:00? please don't tell me that's what I"m hearing!
Chorei

1:07 Could somebody tell me what she’s saying there? She definitely feels like… what? 👉🏻👈🏻🥺
I definitely feel like that I have another twenty (years) left in me, how about that ?
