THE WAY of the LIGHTHOUSES - STAGE 8 # Nemiña - Fisterra

NEMIÑA - FISTERRA (24 KMS)
Last stage! We go along the beach of Nemiña until we reach the mouth of the Ría de Lires, which we wade taking advantage of the low tide hours. Then we begin the fabulous exhibition of cliffs starting with those that plunge from the mountains of Baixo, Poza and da Vela, which give us caprices as Punta do Narís or the Mexadoira waterfall.
Playa do Rostro enraptures us for two kilometers to then face the cliffs of Castromiñán and Denle, towards Playa de Arnela, another hidden paradise.
From Arnela we undertake the most demanding stretch of the day: the Cabo da Nave and the ascent to the steep Monte Veladoiro, where the weather changes at times.
After overcoming it, we have a panoramic view of the beautiful Mar de Fora Beach, the last of this route, and Monte do Facho, which is determined to lean to make our arrival at the Fisterra Lighthouse more epic.
