Thank you for introducing me to this band that, based on just this song, might be my new obsession. Wonderful bass playing (and you did not do to bad either). I found you through your The Warning reactions and I'm now trying to learn more about all the fantastic Japanese bands you are reacting to. So many, just wished I had more time..
DOOOD Kanade's Thumb! Is she muting the B with that thing, holly distal hyperextensibility batman Also Hika's timbre is so nice, pleasantly rich and less forward than many of her Japanese contemporaries.
I like to call these types of songs with no real refrains or repeats (also see Hanabie We Love Sweets) "ticker tape" songs. It just keeps feeding out in a line and never really loops back around.
Thanks Mota - very good - but surely that bass slap intro is 100% Koga in Sekira Liar?? Maze is still my favourite track so far from them but I did enjoy Loner too. Could make it into my #2 spot of Japanese bands if they keep going like this, and Kanade is very cool.
Maze is my favorite so far. Incidentally, it’s a soft G in Raigen Girl, and anywhere you encounter a G in romanized Japanese. Otherwise, it will be a J.
Engaging is a good word. I've said it before, I'm musically stupid. But Kanade is just fun to watch even if your brain is going "Hehehehe big guitar goes brrrr" This is biased as all hell because I've watched her play so much and she's one of my favorite guitarists, if not the very favorite. But she has the same kind of draw as watching Tomo-zo has. Sure, she's not quite at that crazy level, but who is?
You killed it! Great work on surviving that without your head popping. 😅😅
Zenzen not at all! But thank you for saying so.

My favorite kind of comments. I hope you enjoy discovering all these new rock bands!

I think all the muting work is being done with the left hand while the right hand maintains the pattern. At least that's how I did it.

All of them hitting at an 11 here, especially Hika with those vocals. That is practically a yodel without being cheesy
Band: Let's go Half Time
Kanade: Yeah, Nah
Thanks for the reaction. You should really check out Kiyoshi, in particular the live performances from her channel. She is one heck of a bass player.
Thank you for watching! I know Kiyoshi but I haven't spent real time on her work.
@@YoMota Good to know. Her live stuff is just her and a drummer.

Very cool indeed!
I’ve said it’s like Koga, MISA, and Wakazaemon went to a build-a-bassist workshop and this is what they came out with. She’s pretty amazing.
Maze is my favorite so far.

the day you upload this maze reaction, they (nek!) release new song called loner, and i think better than this awesome song
My plan was to get this up before Loner was released but no such luck. I can't wait to hear it!

I like the comparison, both very pleasant to watch as they make the complex look easy.
