Today I make an offer in a beach house in Roxas City, Capiz one of the best cities I have found wiht a great beach life too.

It's better to at a barrio area with a beachfront also it's more cheaper wise you could maybe buy the lot and build a homestead at the beach on a cheap price

Roxas City won an award for being clean and green and another award for being 100% tobacco free. There’s lots of churches and the people love the Lord.

my roxas videos didn't get much traction in general... not alot of people searching for Roxas City at the moment.

Wow Michael what a great video. You have motivated me even more to find my place on the beach long term rental. I agree with you make repairs for a fair long term lease. That is what I think I am looking for. I like the place you were staying over night. That would be perfect for me. Also love the place you are going to lease beautiful location. Saturday I am going to walk the beach and see what I can find. I am finding that Roxas City is a great place to live. So enjoy your content keep the videos coming.

I go home to Roxas every once in a while, my get-away-from-it-all kinda place, of cource☺️ Good to know and i am just delighted that Roxas City is starting to be a preference for some foreigners now. I also have my own place there, at Mission Hills Subd. Just that its not a step away from the beach but a quiet and relaxing place as well. I spent 3 years living there in Roxas City before.. that time no big malls yet. But life was simple and very economical. I enjoyed eating lots of sea foods at cheaper prices. Weeh!
I was just thinking 3 years sounds good. I wonder if that could be part of the negotiations; if the owners would like a longer term plan/tenant. M said they discussed 1y lease with guaranteed option of sequential 1 yr. Maybe could try 1y & 2y or 1.5y & 1.5y…?

For me, I'd be quite happy renting from the complex you're currently staying in Roxas -- the "ready-made" option. lol
wow, what a great find at the beach. looks pretty good, lots of TLC needed. the upstairs roof might need some work, looks like some water seepage around the sides, but you can get that fixed. like you said, living at the beach will require periodic maintenance. water pressure is definitely important. nice to have a washing machine. the only bathroom you need to worry about is in your room. I see a lot of potential for that house. I hope you get it and it doesn't turn into a money pit. I'm rooting for ya.👍👍👍don't forget the a/c.

There is nothing weird about Roxas city. By the mere fact that it is very spaced out and there is a lovely beach in Roxas city. Whereas in Manila,its so over populated and the houses and condos are so cramped up!! Both me and my husband love Roxas City. My husband hometown/ province is there. Plenty of space and the seafood is so cheap. When it becomes hectic and crazy in Manila, we go to Roxas to destress from all the madness from Manila😊
I was in iloilo a few weeks ago for about 6 days....I wish I had found Roxas City! My dream is to live on the beach, but close to town. Seems perfect. I did a total of 3 weeks...hit up Cebu, Dumaguete, and Iloilo...wasn't in any of them long enough to really make a decision.....I kind of messed up my trip with poor planning. If I can rent my condo our for 6 months, I'd like to do a 6 month trip. Great job with the video.....the energy you have to make these videos should be bottled and sold.
I done Cebu, Iloilo,Boracay and Panglao. Panglao was best but didn't have more time explore more. Live in Thailand but look options

So nice! Capiz does have a lot of hidden gems. You might want to check out the Balisong Hills in Pilar,Capiz, a few miles from Roxas City.

Visiting Roxas this July...everything out there is just a walk away to the mall..airport..beach and I guess the rent more affordable than the one in Iloilo City...no need for a car Mike just a motorbike👍to go around the city and neighboring towns...

Better to be near the beach,that place has a lot of renovation to do and mold
All of them are in rough shape.
Regarding the house with the missing window and falling ceiling… With all the work that needed to be done, make a low offer, which is truthfully fair considering the conditions. You can turn fixing it up into a series and take your time little by little making it a dream.
Btw, when will we see the yacht party footage?

I’ll be heading your way in Jan 25 for the next phase of my life as I will be retiring and starting in the Philippines. Not sure if that’s where I’ll stay but its a good launching point to explore SE Asia. Like you I want to live on a beach.
