I'm the same mbti as tae and when he was talking about the ant and the grasshopper story , i was thinking how could I didn't i come across such a perspective of the story. The thing is that Hobi and Tae becoming Introverts through the years is facinating to me

That’s because the I or E in your mbti type isn’t directed oát your social orientation but your dominant cognitive function. So it’s more introversion thinking and extroversion thinking. Obviously in this world senhave more than 16 personalities and people do change over time but their cognitive functions don’t and they’re being born with it.

Even more recently, Jungkook said he can’t really get away from being ISFP, an Adventurer, though several months ago he took the test and got INTP. He seems to want more INTP, Logician, qualities, but his basic creative, extra-artistic, unique, exploratory, intuitive, loving nature is super wonderful, I think.💜✨🐰
Yeah, the test isn't even trust worthy, partially because people will often choose what they wish they were like. I think it's pretty common to value the "thinking" types more, because it might feel like an insult to get feeling instead of thinking. People shouldn't feel like that tho, because being a thinking type doesn't mean you're actually more smart and objective than a feeling type.
Your insight is super interesting, I really think he is an ISFP. I think he might be looking forward to developing other parts of himself so that might've been the reason behind his results.
MBTI is supposed to be this, a tool for development, and if I am not mistaken, Jung wanted his personality archetypes to be seen as a way to develop the functions in which we are lacking

@@ellem8990 I agree, self-typing is way more trust worthy in the sense that requires you to self reflect and analyse your self, learn your mechanisms of preference. Typing based off behaviour might give wrong results because MBTI is not directly about behaviour, it is about cognitive preferences that a person has when it comes to perceive the world
I'm an INTP and I'm a mix between Jungkook and Jin, it's slightly hard being one in a family of Extroverts but being disconnected is honestly the best things ever, the little safe place in your head away from all sorts of noise and chaos is peaceful and fun ahahah.

I believe your type doesn’t change, only the way in which you interpret questions change🙂 your dominant cognitive function will determine your type and it will not change but you can develop it.

@@mwah435 idk if you watched BTS's MBTI Lab though but it's their recent MBTI type as of May 2022. Hobi got the INFJ result on their test.
And as an introvert myself, i do get my moments as being extroverts as well, just only towards close friends. I have the same energy as Hobi with my group of friends but will have the stereotypical introvert behavior towards acquaintances. So yeah, you can watch BTS's MBTI Lab on RUclips! They have 2 episodes there.

For your information, the MBTI is not based on a simple test or on stereotypes, it goes further. Personality tests that abound on the web often leave out the fundamental aspect that underpins its theory: cognitive functions. To define your personality type you must research cognitive functions. Therefore every supposed personality that has been given to them by a test is incorrect.

i'm also an INFJ, but most likely Hobi is mystyped (as are most other members if u consider this new test they did). his "old" mbti type is ESFJ, and that makes a lot more sense if you research about cognitive functions... he really has nothing to do with INFJs in my opinion 🤔

I was surprised when J-Hope got INFJ (the same as mine). However, it makes sense since J-Hope is J-Hope. He has a kinder and more considerate side to him while also being firm in his decisions.
Maybe I am just being stubborn, but, as an INFJ, I can't see Hobi as being INFJ. I don't see him having that much an interest in abstract things, this is probably one of the things that throws me off the most there. But of course, maybe he just doesn't show it, this is one of the reasons self typing tends to be the most accurate way of typing. He seems very practical and very hands on with everything, getting immediately into stuff. Plus his Fe is very strong no doubt. The question is if it is his superior function or his secondary function

As someone who’s an ISTP, I can relate a lot to Yoongi

I just can't really agree with their recent MBTI types. I've watched them for a very long time and I also studied a lot about the cognitive functions in detail, from Carl Jung's works to Beebe's, Haas's, Hunziker's, and the others.
I still stand by these BTS personality types:
Namjoon: ENFP
Seokjin: INTP
Yoongi: INTP
Hoseok: ESFJ
Jimin: ENFJ
Taehyung: ENFP
Jungkook: ISFP
Tbh, Taehyung is just the only one I'm a little shaky with (INFP/ENFP). The order of his functions can be quite confusing especially with the changes of his demeanor through the years. I am also considering the aspect of fame and how it may have actually dictated his teenage behavior. I am open for discussions.
Yoongi seems like such an istp to me and about what you said at the end. It doesn’t really make sense. Mbti can’t change and people often mistake the e and I as social orientation when it’s about introverted and extroverted THINKING. They’re stuff you’re being born with and cannot change over the time. That’s how cognitive functions work. Obviously you as a person can evolve and change but these functions don’t.

If you watch the mbti video you can see how excited JK was to be an intp and he said in the vlive that he wants to be an intp, i think mainly he wants to be a T, but imo he’s the epitome of an isfp, i mean ofc we don’t know him personally but based on what we see, i think he’s an F for sure, no wonder he got an isfp again lol. Also Jimin is not a T too, he puts people first before himself, Jimin is an F. The only true Ts in the group are Seokjin and Yoongi.

I know that these are test results, but i do think Suga finally got his correct type. I always thought he is an ISTP. I personally don't agree with how people voted on PD. I don't see him being on Fi-Te judging axis, but othervise seems very likely. Ti dom and oppositional Fe was always obvious in him (to me at least). His perception axis is obvious. And Istp, esp fully Ni activated one, fits those popular Intj stereotypes way more than actual cognitive Intj.

Taehyung isn't an INFP, he's a ENFP with 4 enneagram. The 4 is the most common match for the INFPs, so that's because it's so confusing.

Introverts are the loudest ones when they are with the right people. I got a glimpse of Hobi being introverted (with other people) when Sungwoon said Hobi doesn't like to go out that much, so Sungwoon ended up being close to Jimin instead.
I don't think most of them got the right result from the test (as usually happens), but hobi might actually be an infj. They're often described as the most extroverted introverts. Also the usual meaning of introvert is someone who is drained by social situations, not someone who is shy or quiet and the MBTI definition is different from that too. It's more to describe how you interact with the world, more outwards or more internally.

@@moonseokjin BTS did whole segment where they talked how their personality type changed i also think that it can't change i have never done it properly using cognitive functions but simply in test t/f is in middle by percentages so i get mostly intp but sometimes infp, also it's not that deep. Thank you for advice but i think it's rude to comment .... 💀 don't you think so? Why would you comment like that when you can communicate and politely say and explain something to people....
