Finally you are the first one that could tell me how to set the temperature because we got the machine new yesterday and wondered why there is no steam or hot water comeing out when we set the temp to 93 degrees. Because we thought that a temp of 120 could burn our coffee. THX VERY MUCH !!!!
Thanks for your great explanation.. Which espresso machine would you recommend the Rocket Giotto R vs bellezza inizo R? And is it possible that you make comparison between the two machines ?
Hi guys, my Inizio R Leva (with black gauges) has the F0 & F1 function on the PID. Do you know the functionality of those parameters? I did not find any mention about it on the owner manual.
Hello! you mentioned that boiler is made of stainless steel, but how about heat exchanger itself that is sitting inside the boiler? I cannot find it anywhere. Thanks!
Thanks for the review Joshua, I own an Bellezza Inizio Rotary I think it’s a great machine and quality is up there with the best. Good to see your boiler/brew temp figures as that’s something I was looking for as it’s not in the manual 👍.
Funny I got nothing from my literature in the box it was all in German I had to email bellezza how to backflush and descale Still don't know how often to do those
Sure - for the coffee and grind I was using - a pre-infusion of 5 seconds was enough.. any more than this and the shot would just pour out too fast and not have any viscosity to it.. not enough pre-infusion and I found the shot would take a lot longer to begin pouring at the fine grind that I was using and had bitter notes that were not softened by the pre-infusion time. As always adjust to taste - but I've always found 5-8 seconds to be best - but with super light roasted coffee or even filter roasted coffee - longer pre-infusions are recommended.
Great review...I am trying to decide which model to buy. What is the warm up time on the Inizio? Have you reviewed the Francesca? For the same price, you get the dual boiler but without the rotary pump. Basically all the same features but with much quicker warm up time (I think?)
Hi, I ma looking into these there machines: Profitec Pro 500, Domobar VBM Junior HX (just posted another question on that review you made too) and this Bellezza Inizio V PID. Within this price range, is there anyone you would favor? I'm totally lost here. Thank you
Hi there! For sure - for around the $28-3300 range - you're spoilt for choice. They're all pretty comparable - PID control. E61 Groups. .. Bellezza do have the added Pre-infusion control which I found fun to play around with. ... I'm going to add the latest Nuova Simonelli Musica in here - just to make thing more complex 😀 It's a HX machine - no PID but has volumetics instead - so you can program the exact amount of coffee out each time - one press - no need to turn the shot off 👌 It's a very different aesthetic though - so otherwise I' probably lean towards Bellezza, for the more control in espresso brewing.
Hi Maya, I haven't had any experience witht he Profitec 500. I have heard they are a great brand to go with. Though I am thoroughly impressed with the value and quality of the Bellezza tbh. And if you compare the P500 with the Inizio, They are close to equal in capacity but I would say the Inizio comes out on top for having many more features that make the overall brewing process better. a better situated PID, programmable Pre-infusion and more accessories to begin with.
@@AlternativeBrewing cheers Joshua, I really appreciate you taking the time to respond to my comment. Difficult decision, they are both great machines.
Yes and no. Love a Rotary pump - and if you've had one for a while - it'd be hard to go back 😂 but the Vibratory pump still makes great coffee, albeit a little louder 😀
If you read to much reviews in the weh, rotary pump and pid is a must have. But it is not. You brew the same good espresso, with a machine with Pressostat Temperatur regulation and with vibra pump.
@@robertredford8890 100% agree Robert! Longevity is an incedental consideration when looking at these factors - but the actual Espresso that you'll brew daily between an $800 machine vs. a $5000 is very minimal - and comes down the skill of the user
No. Definitely a home espresso machine. maybe 20 or shots once every so often.. but 20-50 shots each and every day for more than 12 months and you'll be paying more in maintenance - best to go with a commercial grade machine like a Expobar or Wega Single group if lloking for a good economical espresso machine for a cafe 👌

I have same question with you. I need help for desicion. Did you decide?

That I believe another metal - most likely Copper.
What does the L0/L3 setting do? It's not in the manual, nor can I find it anywhere online.

Do you have any thoughts on which machine may be better out of this machine vs the quick mill andreja with pid?
May I please ask what you suggest is the best pre infusion you found?

Tengo una cafetera igual. Últimamente me arroja error E9 al calentar. Usted sabría decirme en que consiste el error E9. Gracias.
did you figure it out I was thinking about getting one was wondering if it's worth it
Hi, can the steam wand be swapped from left side to the right side?
No, I do not believe so.
which one bezzera bz16 or bellezza inizio R
Bellezza Inizio R 👌
Great review Joshua. How does the Bellezza compare to the Profitec 500?

Does the Inizio come preadjusted to 9 bars? ... if not can it be adjusted?
Yes it does and can be 👌
Does the aussie version work with the app? I watched another video from overseas and they mentioned an app which i feel added to its value.
No app with the Aussie version to date sorry. But still a great value machine!
Can it be used for a small cafè that pulls about 20 to 50 shots a day?

@@AlternativeBrewing What specific machine would you recommend without breaking the bank but also considering the number of shots per day?
@@AlternativeBrewing what is the problem? Why would it not be able to pull 20-50 shots?
buy a espresso machine with a boiler of at least 5 liters for commercial use
can it make about 100 coffees a day?
no
