allymayful Dear Ally, My then boyfriend and song co-writer was George Terry who played guitar for Eric Clapton After we toured for 5 years with Clapton we were back home in South Florida Criteria called George and I went alone with him every time he went to do a session We became very close with the whole Bee Gee's family even Mom and Dad It was a family affair I met Terri DeSario and we did a few vocal sessions together It sounded great I met Barbra Streisand as well She stopped Barry mid conversation to ask who did my hair and was it permanently curly which it was. Just a lot of great times I even got to take Gregg Allman out for dinner. Brilliant story - exciting times - lucky you. l was a 10yr old in Australia, growing up on a dairy farm, when l saw them on TV as slightly older kids. l couldn't believe my eyes thinking "how do kids get to do things like that". So hence l have been fascinated with their journey ever since. And 100% proud of them and their success. But have also felt the pain of how the Music Media has persecuted them fairly consistantly since the 70's.
I was very lucky to know all the Bee Gee's and their families and the voice of Teri Desario was always great to hear I loved this song . Sounds as good if not better than the day it was released You just don't hear great melodies any more and Barry was a perfectionist!
