As near as I can gather Steve there are three guitar parts, with every source I've come across listing electric guitar parts by Keith and Mick Taylor, and an overdubbed acoustic guitar by Keith
I do believe this is Keith. The licks sound so much similar to Chuck. That’s something mick never really did. I think Keith does all the guitars on this song.
Yes, I agree it appears to have Keith's fingerprints all over it - open G; the kind of riffing you'd expect of Keith; and in Keith's unmistakable style. However, every source says it's Mick Taylor, which makes me think it's MT playing like Keith to complement Keith's guitar part
Hi Fred - a couple of people have mentioned that Taylor was playing arpeggios. Haven't been able to hear them at all, let alone isolate them. However, there are youtube audio clips of him playing arpeggios on a couple of Brown Sugar performances from the 1973 European tour - cheers
@@ladlitter7529 btw Mick Taylor live in The Netherlands right now jus a few miles from my place. A friend of mine sees him at the grocery sometimes because his mother lives in the same village.
Great - I've found RiffStation helpful for chords and also adjusting songs into standard pitch for playalongs. It's not great for isolating guitar parts but helpful nonetheless
Mick Jagger played acoustic guitar...Keith Richards played electric.

0:46 That characteristic lick is from Taylor

Keith could never do that vibrato.
themaximusprime702 - are you the boss of the world?
The isolated track here played by MT isn’t in open G - it’s very obviously in standard tuning
@@jonathanboyfield7588 Did MT ever play in open G on a Stones record? He even plays slide in standard tuning...
Mick Taylor played mostly arpeggio's on this track that are very buried

Great
No worries Uni - invaluable in working things out - Open G tuning
Yes
Bobby Keys!
Yes Chris - amazing that Bobby Keys' sax plays almost throughout the song, and how closely intertwined it is with Mick Taylor's guitar part
イントロのギターはテイラーだけど、あとは全てキースの5弦ギターオープンGと思いますが
Thanks Marino

Fantastic Robbert! Always great to hear news of Mick Taylor - my all-time favourite guitar player
hardly isolated.
