@glenhin3284 hello! Thank you! Do you mean the place we stopped to eat? It's a rest stop called Kao Kaeng Baan Suan 2 ข้าวแกงบ้านสวน 2 ขาออกวังน้อย. I've the google map link included in the description box, u can actually click on it to see it in google map + save it too.
Hi! Thank you for sharing your experience ... We are planning a trip to Khao Yai National Park & I chanced upon your video. We have gone for Self Drive holiday in Japan, Malaysia & Australia but not Thailand. Is it safe driving around. Appreciate if you could share your experience and tips on doing it. Thank you very much!
@LiMayLim-i1n hello! It was my first time doing a self drive trip in Thailand too, but it was surprisingly manageable. Previously I've also only done self drive trips in Malaysia, Australia n south korea. First of all, I feel it's important to rent the car from a reputable rental company (got mine from Hertz for this trip). But we had difficulty connecting our phone to the car's system, so I just used Google map directly from my hp, thankfully i always bring along my hp holder for the car when i travel, so it wasn't an issue for me. Secondly, I chose to fly in to DMK airport, i read that it's nearer to the highway, so u skip bulk of the bkk traffic jams. Safety wise, i felt it was ok. Just be extra careful driving around at Khao Yai area at night because it was really dark on the roads. We reached there about 8pm n it was kinda pitch dark.
Thanks going in November 😂
@glenhin3284 have fun! I read recently about electronic travel authorisation for travelling to Thailand, u might want to check up on it
Thank you for sharing that amazing trip 🎉
Thank you for watching!

@@LiMayLim-i1n I just saw this news on electronic travel authorisation. U might want to take note: str.sg/8EdN
Where did you rent the car?
@nabi9475 hello. We rented from Hertz, picked up the car from DMK airport
Do you use toll road ? If yes how to make payment for foreigners ?
Yes there's toll on the highway. There's a lane for people paying with cash, and we did that. So do make sure you've some small change.
