Jon, thank you for these amazing videos. I'm hoping to get the book ASAP, but in the meantime is there anything you can say about the last barrier to anxiety regulation you mentioned (failure to differentiate current experience from past trauma)? Are there particular defenses that perpetuate this? How would you go about restructuring this kind of process?
When you get my book, the last third of the anxiety chapter tells you what to do when traditional forms of anxiety regulation don't work. It will tell you what to do for this specific problem.
I really like this series and you book, however, thee is so much information it is hard to put into practice. I have four years of training in psychodynamic psychotherapy and I still find this so new and interesting. If you ever decide to offer a distance training or workshop, please share.
I offer core trainings each year in Washington, D.C. Feel free to contact me if you want to join a training. We meet four times a year for three years.
Jon, thank you for your videos. They are very insightful. I have just purchased 2 of your books that are on their way. All the best from Poland.
Me too ❤
Read the book too! It's a page turner while at the same time, turning your mind to hands on, close contact and compassionate therapeutic skills.
What a wonderful series! Thanks so much!
+Beatrice Kaufman Thank you!

I would love to hear you read your book on Audible! Is that possible?
