I like it, it’s a sac alternative to blasphemous act which helps you board wipe through indestructible. Like if somebody had a bunch of indestructible slivers out. And also avoids damage redirection like blasphemous sliver. It’s at sorcery speed. And technically isn’t a board wipe. Go wide decks like krenko will have more than 13 creatures easily when they get going

Yes, a lot of them is situational/expensive, but a lot of them is pretty good (particularly hellfire in mono black)

The chandra feels so odd. Feels like she was supposed to be 5-6 mana or something, and whoever designed her had to change her last minute, so went up to 7 just to be safe. She is a fair bit stronger effects wise than torch of defiance, but that is a 9 year old card, at 4 mana...
@ I mean, you can already get token copies of creatures via a planeswalker using saheeli rai, for 3 mana instead of 7 (or saheeli, sublime artificer if you don’t need an ETB) Now, all of her abilities are useful, if below rate, so you might still want to run her as an extra copy of those two/a flexible thing. Not saying it’s a useless card, just absurdly situational. Probably okay-ish to irencrag feat out early on an empty board/while pillowforted out
Kinda early to make a tier list on which’s cards are definitely good or bad. Wait until the set comes out and see what affects it has. Some cards you think are bad could turn out to be good, or vice versa.
As for Kaito, I feel he might be pretty interesting specifically in commander, where in a go wide, multi color deck you have a chance to just pop his ult the turn he comes down. Still situational, but the opportunity cost isnt that high
i'm thinking of adding it to my etrata, deadly fugitive deck. All that deck does is hit people with unblockable small creatures, and this feels like a good addition to it to protect your life total. If you manage to get him to 9 the turn you play it, it's so worth it. But even if you can't, it still provides some value at 3 mana.
I think kaito is good enough in a go wide or token theme, a rhystic study that creates bodies instead of drawing cards is amazing in a deck with those themes, unblockable+loot is good enough for many decks and the -2 is for standard.
electroduplicate not being "stample" or "powerful" is a mistake becuse it will be used in combos and meta decks like Etali (if korvold would still be a thing was also a stample there)

The draw of 1 mana being the big thing about it, when you do get to cast it for 1 it won't be enough. Black offers a variety of one sided wrath effects as well to fit your fringe/tribal needs. Not to mention Gravepact. It's only home would be in a mono black deck and that's a hard sell.

The black Blasphemous act only costs 1 mana and it gets through indestructible, protection from everything and hexproof. There’s barely any counterplay, i’d say its going to be in the top #3 boardwipes of all time
@@TargetSniper365 yeah i know but blasphemous edict literally goes through anything. The only way to interact with it is to blink or phase out your own creatures. Those cards are usually more expensive or rare so the pods i know usually dont run them. This is the best boardwipe you can ask for.
Games are gonna lose all fun when everyone is running Blasphemous Edict. Its ridiculously overpowered at 1 mana getting around indestructible. Hope it gets banned after everyone buys one for $30 ea

I would play her in guff, being able to copy your proliferation creatures can get really really dumb, I would argue she is super situational.

Nine-Lives definitely goes into Tayam decks. 9 counters (10 with Tayam) on one creature is bonkers.
