@@LunarNights_ I have a deck with grand arbiter in the 99. Sometimes I get 5+ non legendary copies of him. At that point it's kind of my opponents fault.
@@FelipeASaitothey are actually some of the saltiest players I find 😭 they make a deck to prevent you from playing and get mad when people take them out first so the rest of the table can play
As someone who played and has since dismantled a GAAIV “tax everything” EDH deck, I can assure you that the answer to your question is “No, nobody cares about you. At all.”
Once upon a time I made a Grand Arbiter deck, never played it, my girlfriend took it, then it was banned from our play group. And they all lived happily ever after. 😂
I had thought about building a tax deck and calling it the IRS using cards like Grand arbiter and rhystic study. But i played against grand arbiter 1 time and decided i wasnt gonna be that guy
Nope, some cards only exist so you don’t get to play the deck they’re in, like Ragavan. You play him, games over, good job, go pick someone else’s deck to play, because it won’t be mine, and you clearly have little intention to play your own.
I ought to pull out my voltron grand arbiter deck one of these days. I don't play it too often because no one likes grand arbiter. The only stax piece in the whole deck is the commander. Which makes my voltron faster
Well, to put it simply. If you play grand arbiter, or blue white control, or anything for that matter that says "ah ah ah, you can't do that" You get exactly one game with it, one, that you're allowed to enjoy
My play group asked me why I won't build an azorius deck. So I built one on moxfield and showed them. It's a Grand Arbiter deck that's completely focused on making copies of Grand Arbiter with a splash of counters and anthems to beat faces in with a Grand Army 😅 I refuse to be that guy even tho I really wanna play it lol
It’s our grand arbiter players. I just want to play a turn two and three drannith magistrate and uba mask. Who’s scared of one weird little artifact and a 2/2? /s
While i have never built grand arbiter, I'm a stax player at heart; I never understand the complaints when everyone else is trying vomit out a boardstate or comboing off( on average). Sure, stax wants to slow down opponents gameplans while advancing your own; however, if all players are not taking too long on decisions , games don't really take much longer than any other average game. People just get pissy because they want to do their thing uninterrupted and anything that does interfere is unfun/unfair to them.
One With Death is better than One With Nothing because it wins the game on the spot with Hive Mind out, rather than just making everybody discard their hands. Still, they should have both been costed at 1 phyrexian black mana instead of 1 black.
I care about the grand arbitor player, a buddy of mine had that deck and its not so bad once you get used to it, esspecially if you gain control of it like I did😈
I started playing MTG arena 3wks ago and really enjoy it. Just got a commander deck irl so I can play with people, but like ... Is the community really this toxic? the thing about stax that everyone doesnt seem to realize is that it prevents the turbo player from going off and winning in the first place. yall need to chill out on the stax hate, sure its annoying and slows the game down a bit, but its not unnecessary
If Grand Arbiter players had hearts, I might care.
@@lukesveen5269 the reason it’s “hearts” is because no biological human being would play grand arbiter knowing what it’s like to play against it.

Grand Arbiter player: "But what about me don't I get to play?" Nooooooow you're getting it
Won’t anyone think of the Stax players? 😭
It's OK, they don't have feelings. No need to worry about hurting them
Stax players don't have rights

not to worry, I can confirm while I am playing Alexios that the whole table is thinking of the stax players.

To quote Hamlet, Act 3, Scene 3, Line 87: No
hamlet, act 3, scene 3, line 87 (revised): "Decks with grand arbiter to heaven never go"

I’m conflicted since I’ve played a game where the stax player was making everyone miserable and one where the stax player was saving everyone
Just take it as it comes, lol
A stax player saving anyone is just what a stax player would say, nice try there bud 😂😂😂
because "stax" is a bad term that combines vastly different kinds of decks.
A stax player does not save a game. A stax player makes the game take long enough that they have warped it to become necessary to survival
The difference between both is simple. Is the stax optional? Because Grand Arbiter sure isnt, so he never saves the games
Grand Arbiter players will say "skill issue" after you lose a dice roll.
My idea for wizard's pride commander was Gaddock Teeg partnered with Grand Arbiter. Never did get around to building it.
It's one thing to play grand arbiter in the 99, but if you make it your commander, there is ZERO mercy.
GAAIV is the bane of turbo and shidder of combo. I appreciate them in the CZ whenever I am playing my big mana green decks.
I've decided that Grand Arbiter is my Joker moment deck for a reason, bud. No, we don't care.

If someone combined One with Death with Sudden Substitution, I'd actually laugh so hard.
No…no one cares about the Grand Arbiter player’s feelings because 4 people playing Magic is better than 1 person denying play.
I had thought about building a tax deck and calling it the IRS using cards like Grand arbiter and rhystic study. But i played against grand arbiter 1 time and decided i wasnt gonna be that guy
😂😂😂 I love how grand arbiter is just unanimously hated by everyone who isn't a grand arbiter player

No. No we don't.
I see Jodah, I scoop. Have fun playing solitaire, Zordon.
the more i play against goodstuff piles full of cascade and greedy mana bases, the more i come around on stax
I love the punchline 😂
Just noticed the leverless controllers in ther back! Hell yeah dude mtg and fgc 💪
How dare I win the game because you chose to lose first world problems am I right
Technically you don’t sacrifice that mirror lotus, it says you exile it. You won’t get triggers off that.
Hive Mind + One with Death... Their copies all resolve first. You WIN!
I kinda want a copy of that One with Death. I played a 3 hour game the other day and couldve played this instead of losing a bit of my soul.
At 1st I rolled my eyes cause 5 color good stuff deck but then I saw Grand Arbiter and thought "oh war crimes are legal now"
I like playing against control, because I like playing control. It's like being challenged by my opponents to stop them.
No, you shouldn't be inclined to play him as a commander.
Tax evasion for the tax collector is morally evil
If morals mattered, he wouldn't be playing Jodah

I went from having my commander down on turn 3 possibly to turn 7 because of Grand Arbiter, Fuck Grand Arbiter, That shit dies on sight now.
Grand arbiter? Nah. I smile whenever someone shuts it down.
One with death was for the cards that copy for opponents
Why discard my hand when I can just LOSE THE GAME

grand arbiter is a great card for any WU deck but if I see the MF lookin at me from the command zone it player removal time
Unrealistic, the grand arbiter player wouldve mulled for a counterspell

3. No, no one cares about arbiter
Short answer, no. Long answer, noooooooooo
The amount of times i gave my phages undying XD
Grand arbiter makes me think permanent commander removal isn't that bad
i bet if he had the mana to counter that spell, he would just so the game drags on
Ill only be happy to play against arbiter in a 5+multiplayer. Keeps everyone in check
Unfortunately, due to the lotus, they have 3 open blue mana. Counterspell
Me not just eating your card is as much care as I’ll give you
Answer, no XD in the 99 is fair but as a commander is kinda toxic
I will start caring about the grand arbiter players when they start caring about the spells I can't cast (they don't and never will)
Oh no the grand arbiter player doesn't get to play

I had a deck once that was Rakdos Suicide. It was filled with card combos i could use to kill myself...fun times.
