    Great tutorial! Thank you for some great tips and ideas! Clearly spoken and easy to follow. Of course I did have to pause and occasionally to go back and forth from your tutorial to my work but you make it very easy if you have word experience already.

    Great tutorial. How would I combine the layers of shape, words, and text to make it one? I am seeking to make multiples. I think that copy/paste would be the best way, but would I have to copy/paste each layer? That seems so time consuming.

The only thing I'm struggling with is how to print them, what to print them on, and how to make sure they are all cut perfectly the same. Could you do a tutorial on this? Would complete my learning process and really jumpstart my business! Thanks again Tracey, you're the best!

  • @1948bibi

    It is evident that you really know what you are doing, and I dont. I know that you are limited in the time you can spend, but as a newbie you went way, way, way too fast. I will have to go back and try and catch up. As a teacher, when you are instructing you must slow your speed so that the majority of the class understands what you want them to learn . Overall, you did a great job!!!

      Penny - It's funny, I've received feedback that I go too slow and in too much detail, it is a tough balance....I'm glad you are able to stop the video and rewind when you are lost....I'll try to go a bit slower but I am limited on time and try to play to everyone in the audience...thanks for listening!

    • @traceyhull4221
      @traceyhull4221  7 лет назад +1

      Take a look at my channel I have a few videos on how to copy and paste the labels....so with circular labels its a bit tougher than the water bottle labels. easiest way is to select each object by LEFT clicking while holding down the shift key. Once all objects are selected you can right click > Group. Once grouped you can click on the image as a whole and copy and paste anywhere....I'll create a video soon.

    Hi Tracey! Thank you so much for doing these circle tags with circle text video. I'm able to make my own now with your excellent instructions!! BUT... when I transform the text to the lower arc, the shape of the text arc does not match my circle (which is 1.7 x 1.7)??!! I've tried changing the shape of the text box, it doesn't work for me. Any suggestions?

    • @traceyhull4221
      @traceyhull4221  8 лет назад

      Yeah, you'll need to play with it....do you see a yellow square of to the side of the text box when you add the arc? If you do, click on that yellow square and it will show you the arc, I'll usually have to make the text box smaller than the circumference of the circle, it's trial and error with the arc...if you can find that yellow square that will help tremendously!

    Hi tracy . Thank you so much of teaching us how to do these labels. i just wanted to ask you about the last label. still having trouble trying to close the gap. i need help thank you so much.

    • @traceyhull4221
      @traceyhull4221  7 лет назад

      What do you mean, close the gap? Closing the gap between the words when doing the cirucular printing? If so, be sure you use the exact font you want, you can either:
      1. Change the font size slightly (11 to 11.5 or even 11.3) and play with that until it prints well
      2. Change the text box shape, make the text box slightly larger or slightly smaller.

    hi do you know if Microsoft Windows 7 has to transform button, to get the curvy effect of the name for some reason I cannot find it?

    • @traceyhull4221
      @traceyhull4221  8 лет назад

      I'm not sure about specific versions, but if it doesn't then you can always use Powerpoint. PowerPoint has had that ability long before they added into MS Word. Here's a link to a video showing you how to make the same printable tags in a very old version of PPT ruclips.net/video/qHV9NqF2z0g/видео.html

  • @desireme03
    @desireme03 7 лет назад

    Do you know how to save this word file as a jpeg or png? So that I would be able to use a die cutting machine to cut out the tags. For example on a Cricut.

    • @traceyhull4221
      @traceyhull4221  7 лет назад +1

      So it is easier to just create this in your diecut software, however you can change this into a image pretty easily two different ways.
      1. Watch ruclips.net/video/spkBxEIycDQ/видео.html video, the second part of the video will walk you through creating a .jpg from the MS Word doc.
      2. You can take a screenshot of your screen by holding down the CTRL button and clicking PrtScn (print screen). Once you have done that, open paint and click paste or open your Cricut and hold down CTRL then click on the letter "v" (for paste). It will grab an entire screenshot of your screen but from there you should be able to very easily crop what you need. I hope that helps!
      That being said, much easier to find a coupon and just spring for a 3' punch, I have a diecut machine but use my punch for tags as it's SO much easier! With a coupon this would probably cost you $10.00 at most and I've had mine for years!

    • @traceyhull4221
      @traceyhull4221  7 лет назад

      I need to make a video on that...but...you can hold down the shift key and left click to ensure all objects are selected, then you can right click and click Group All. Then just copy and paste from there!

    how did you correct the spacing issue in the Happy Birthday tag?

    • @traceyhull4221
      @traceyhull4221  7 лет назад

      You might have to play with the size of the text box and or the size of the font to get the happy birthday to align perfect. Not sure if you followed exactly or used your own fonts....

    • @traceyhull4221
      @traceyhull4221  7 лет назад

      I just print on normal stock paper that I get at Michaels or Office Depot. You then use clear packaging tape to attach it to the water bottle, it works perfectly looks great.

    • @traceyhull4221
      @traceyhull4221  7 лет назад

      I would think that they would jam the printer for sure. You could always attach your own straps to the paper bags!

    • @traceyhull4221
      @traceyhull4221  7 лет назад

      You can change the size of the font and or change the shape of the text box to fix the spacing issues for the happy birthday tag

      So there is no official Circle, to get the circle you use the "oval" shape and change the dimensions to make it a circle, there is also no 1/2 circle, you need to use the "chord" shape and the hollow circle is called the "donut", not sure if that helps. Honestly, never heard of that!
