So at the last boss fight on hm everyone has to do the same thing each poison phase? Or can anybody just randomly pick up the shield and synergise or freeze?
Holy hell... Came here to learn the mechanics so I can do this on Vet, now I'm even more confused than before :D I've completed a bunch of vet dungeons but always blind, I've just went in and done my best to not die and avoid all kinds of damage. This particular dungeon just feel so overwhelming
6:18 Do NOT stack up the Ogre Brutes and Elders. They produce the same kind of insta-death poison as the first boss does when they're together. In this particular pull that I've timestamped, you absolutely want that Elder dead before the Brute wanders over. That's the only thing in the video I felt was wrong but it's also easy to forget because even when you're not trying, that Elder goes down first . hahaha
Did this for the first time today with some guildies who wanted the armor. Died twice running past the danged skeevers, lol. Thanks for the videos! They make life easier.
Ooof! This looks sore! Oh well I'll give it a bash in a pug and if not I'll ask my guildies to help this evening- Want the monster sets from here! Thanks for video as ever! Nice one.
As tank, I have so many problems with that Snow tremor on the first boss. you can see it barely touch the tank at 4:56. That would kill me every time it shot out from the boss like that (even if it barely touched me as it did the tank here who suffered no ill effect from it) and I have no time to stop it by getting into the yellow aoe's. When I did have one targeting me I would run into the AOE but it takes a moment to work before you turned into ice. Hence, if it catches up to soon you are dead even though you are in the AOE. Also, for some reason when I would go into the ice things they would randomly just kill me. I think it may be because they would overlap with another yellow AOE those few times it did that. So is it possible that 2 of the yellow AOE's will kill you instead of turning you to ice? Only a couple times did that Snow Tremor not kill me even though I knew the mech and tried to do the mech every single time. It is such a pain in the ***. what am I doing wrong with that? Should I kite it to provide more room so I can have better reaction time? Any thoughts on that boss mech would be helpful, it is seriously frustrating.
Wow..Thx..My first time I went in on a random dungeon cue as a Templar healer 380 cp, Ported in as they kicked, or lost the other healer on the final boss. I mean I was clueless on any dynamics, luckily I stayed in file as much as possible, we didn't wipe, but they carried me for sure with 4 res. They were @$$ kickers like you all, and they knew the dynamics. Thanks to you.. now I do.
Should have watched this before diving in for the first time. At least 10 deaths on the first pair of ogres. Finally figured out to stay close to the ice stun patches so I can dart into one when I get targeted. After that it was much easier and only died once. All in all it was a fun dungeon, different and kept me on my toes.
I just picked this dungeon because I wanted to complete everything on the zone map.... Boy was I in for some tough fighting. My group completed it though after dying many, many times... Wish I had watched this guide first.
Like always: extremely helpful Video and i am very thankful! I learned some more ticks and tricks to make my life easier there (= Thanks for all the effort you put in all your content!!!!
Great vid Xy. We just got another member of our group through HM last night so just the no death to go for her skin. Also got to give a shout out to Bob on that DK healer rocking the Draugr's Rest. Such an underrated set :)
Do you think once you have covered the dungeon mechanics you will move onto the mechanics for trials though its understandable if not because they can be a pain to set up
Im probably the only 1 that rolls to jump in the ice with the 1st bosses tremor atk. Little tip, rolling bad. Cc immunity prevents u from being frozen. I hate this dg so much on tank n healer. 1 slip up and ur team is dead in 1/2 a sec. Lol u proved it at the last boss, wish I could've paused to look around
Is there an indication when the one shot AOE at the first boss is coming? As a tank its super rough, cause there seems to be no indication to me and when you see the ground red circle it's already too late because even as a tank you get one shotted and the group wipes.
Hey, somebody there who finished the hard mode of Scalecaller Peak? Our Group died two times quite in the end and we dont know how this happened. I dont find something on guides online. We got the boss down to 20%, finished the "last" frost-giant phase and then, once on 14% life, once on 11% another group of frost-giants suddenly appeared and killed us. On every guide we looked its written that they come with 20% damage made. But why in the end? There is nothing written about an enrage phase or something like this. Does someone know the reason for that so we can prepare?
My group is having this issue right now too. We thought we were home free after 20%, totally took us by surprise and wiped us. Can't find any info on it. I've been trying to figure out if that last ice phase is another damage threshold or if it's a timer.
wish I had seen this yesterday, ran it first time then, In vet because I thought how hard could it be... My god did we struggle before we understood the mechs for the first boss, the rest was hard but ok.
I am trying to get the style from the last boss but maybe not after seeing this lol. Your telling me a rando group is gonna perfectly do all this bs (espically with the last boss), yeah ok lol
Now if I can only find people to play with. Try pugs, half the people quit the other half play like they're doing a solo run. That's assuming you get a group. I've waited 30+ minutes as a healer for Scale caller, Moongrave, March of Sacrifices all the same story. Join "beginner friendly guilds" that say "well help you and play with you." Can never get an answer other than "I've already done that one."
This dungeon I've found has some of the most difficult mechanics in the game. being a 4 man and how many different sure death situations there are and coordination that needs to be done random groups almost always fail on this one. I don't think I've ever once completed this with a random group for the undaunted daily.
To be perfectly honest I think there’s too many mechanics in the hard mode fight. Why? Because my teams can get her HP around 10 or below multiple times, but then 2 or 3 of us gets hit with one of these many things. Now now of course if someone has some of the absolutely best stuff in the game then this wouldn’t be too much of a problem.
Just did it yesterday with a pug me(tank) and 2 dps. No healer!!! Was a struggle, my armor went to 0 and my food was up! The backslapping at the end was worth it!
BTW, it took more than an hour to do it... My food(Garlic Cod With Potato Crust) ran out around the plague concocter morteau. Killing Zaan was way easier than any of the other bosses when we knew the mechanics.
Really looking for ppl to do this with, lol. I’m a cp450 magplar on ps4 EU. Maybe someone’s actually willing to carry me through this, u never know haha😅
Awesome video... but... video. Just this once, could you pleeeeease make a video that deals "only" with "Normal" mode to help the average PUG group that gets dumped into here by the RNG dungeon picker? Simply put, there is just WAY too much information and activity going on here that makes it impossible to separate out what does and doesn't apply in Normal mode. Normal Mode almost seems like a completely different dungeon from this one. To me, this is one of the most difficult dungeons to tackle. I'm over 1100 CP and still get wiped on a regular basis and can never figure out what's wiping me. It's going to be a long, long time before I would every try this on Vet mode, let alone Vet Hard Mode. This video is just far to busy to isolate the normal model mechanics. Your format and process work in virtually every other dungeon, but not this one. We need to learn how to run before we can walk. And lets face it. When you're running Normal Mode you're typically in a PUG, and I'm probably the only one that actually tries to study these mechnics and apply them. But the reality is, the other 3 player are always the type that just run in swinging and get killed in no time flat. I have never played this dungeon yet where at least 1of the 4 doesn't warp-out before now because they are overly frustrated... typically because of the constant poisoning and freezing. Just one time, please make a version in Normal Mode for the average PUG players. Thank you in advance. Cheers
I just finished this today! The sectional AOE was the worst - we got used to the other mechs and this was still messing us up. I kept trying to dodge roll out and it wasn't working, only after we fixed our positioning to one group, more on the right side, was it possible to avoid it and finish. Nice!

A service to the ESO community. Thanks a lot!

Thanks so much for your vids! You're guides are amazing. Also....
"When life gives you lemonades..." lol can't see them now without thinking it.
Appreciate you providing this great information in easy to understand and clear instructions. And stressing what not to do.
Did this for the first time today with some guildies who wanted the armor. Died twice running past the danged skeevers, lol. Thanks for the videos! They make life easier.
I love your videos I ran this dungeon for the first time yesterday spent over an hour in it and didnt finish it cause no one knew what to do
The Alchemist boss has to be one off my favorite fights, probably only second to Tarcyr.
Thanks for another epic video!
Yeah that poison dude is a VERY awesome mechanical fight!
Thanks for the breakdown, really comprehensive guide to the dungeon.
HM complete, speedrun and no death next. Ty so much, incredibly helpful
Ooof! This looks sore! Oh well I'll give it a bash in a pug and if not I'll ask my guildies to help this evening- Want the monster sets from here! Thanks for video as ever! Nice one.

Nice video I did this the other night on normal and being one of the harder dungeons I’m going attempt it on vet so here I am☺️
Super helpful, thanks a bunch. You explain mechs so so well!

Uhh, I'm scared to even try it on normal as a CP470 healer. :D You're so brave.
Thanks for this. I need the Zaan helm for my build and we’re preparing to do this grind. It looks rough !
This made my first time in vet so easy 🔥🔥🙏🙏🙏
Thank you for this guide. I finally beat this on vet.
Gonna try this tonight thanks
Nice! Exactly when I was thinking about doing this dungeon to get Zaan xD Thanks a lot for these really awesome guides!
You are most welcome and thank you for watching!
Thanks for the guide!
thanks for this! very scared to heal a pug in it tho!
Just completed it on vet because of this and nearly done it on hm.Cp900 so I’m pretty gassed about it tbf
Great video, very informative, thank you bud :)
Lol @ Lemonades 😆 Good stuff as always!
haha thank you

Getting 12 people capable of Demonstrating them is a little harder to do, but lets see what the channel brings in the future ;)
Hi Please will you add a full tank perspective for this dungeon? Much appreciated

Appreciate the excellent mechanics you show us and the humour in them all. Awesome 😎
These are the best, easiest to follow videos I've watched
I could of done with this guide, about 3 days ago!
Great guide, thank you!
most welcome and thank you for watching!
Thanks for this 👍
You may have to update your dungeon video on falkreath hold, both version's of vet an vet hm will be completely different for last boss.
you got a sub thanks for the guide it help alot
BTW are you going to do trials Guide too
Wish me luck, quarantine squad let’s go.

Absolutely loving these guide videos. I'm curious tho as to where my CP level and overall stat totals should be in order to be viable in these.
wish I had seen this yesterday, ran it first time then, In vet because I thought how hard could it be...
My god did we struggle before we understood the mechs for the first boss, the rest was hard but ok.
THANKS FOR THE TIPS!!! btw does Anyone know what outfit pieces he is wearing in this video?
Another great one..thnx!!!!
Final boss at 21:20
Very nice Video thanx
What class was you running in this vid ?
This dungeon is way too mechanic heavy for Pug groups, thanks Zenimax :)
I am trying to get the style from the last boss but maybe not after seeing this lol. Your telling me a rando group is gonna perfectly do all this bs (espically with the last boss), yeah ok lol
Do I (as a tank) aggro both bosses or just the mobile one?
Hey, great guide. I'm a new player trying first vets. What class/build are you using?
using my stamina dragonknight build "toxicity"
Took 3 hours to complete this the other day 😩
What UI are you using?
I will conquer one of these today! On normal....ahahah
How does the healer send multiple orbs at once?
What build are you using in this dungeon
100% sub worth💪🏽
watch out for those lemonades
How do you make those bad circles from skeevers blue mine are red and hard to see
Under combat settings you can change team and enemy aoe colours
i luv firefly very nice tank^^

Yeah...that's not something i can fix. This is a mechanics video, nothing more nothing less. I can't teach people to NOT be asshats.
how can you beat the crash boss
This dungeon I've found has some of the most difficult mechanics in the game. being a 4 man and how many different sure death situations there are and coordination that needs to be done random groups almost always fail on this one. Those aoe's by the smelly ones are now far far faster than this !
Whew this one was rough. Took 2 hours and 20+ wipes.
Anyone else notice the statue in xy's house looks like it came straight from the last boss in scp?
march of sacrafices next? need balorghs helm
2 more dungeons left, 32 down 2 to go :)
Pug killer dungeon
Watched this during a run with randoms bc we all forgot the mechanics 😭🤣
Vma ice round nightmare screw that boss but well done again
Yeah that boss gives people nightmares lol
Every time he says " Nasty a.o.es" i thought it sounded like 'Nazi a.o.e" lol. Wolfenstein DLC vet dungeon lol
What do you mean "Synergize" in order to break someone out of stun in this dungeon?
Thered a synergy that you have to use to get them out of stone
Someone said this takes 4 hours how he beat it in 30m?
Imagine having an AOE heavy attack. Even as the tank of the group that attack still one shot me. Just roll
Would ur were wolf build wrk for pve
can you do a warden tank version? keep up the good work
This dungeon was the first time I ever rage quit ESO. On the last boss too.
Can anyone help me with this
You can't escape when it follows you and speeds up for one shot kill.

i want to learn tanking from firefly00
Calling Leimenids "Lemonades"... lmfao
It's Lay-meh-nid, not Lemonade, my guy lol
Hey can i get a invite to your guild on Xbox NA server
Stay out of stupid, Xynode!
Really looking for ppl to do this with, lol.
