Fruit Tree Greenhouse Tour| Winter Update 2021

- On December 23rd and 24th, 2021, I filmed and inspected my hundreds of exotic fruit trees and cacti while they were in the winter greenhouses and various spots throughout the backyard. The plants had been in the greenhouses for about two months and many were doing well in the warm environments. I also had some fruit trees that were outside of the greenhouses, and some needed freeze protection.
I’ll also show you my loquat tree from seed and a tree that was confused because of the unusually warm fall weather in Texas.
I have so many plans for the new year and I can’t wait to get started on them once my trees and cacti are out of the greenhouses by late March 2022!

I thought I had a lot of fruit trees until I saw this video 😋. I plan to experiment more with my greenhouses after seeing how well my moringa tree overwintered in mine compared to the ones planted in the ground with no protection.
Good Day. Amazing trees - havent heard of many of them. thank for sharing
Thanks for the Loquat info I grew some from seed as well.
Here watching!! You have an amazing collection 🤍 love it !!!!
Thank you so much! 🤗
@@shamrockgirl804 you’re welcome 😉
Truly beautiful amazing and inspiring So glad I stumbled upon your channel as I will be starting my farming/growing journey in '23 I am in MS Concerned about Temps for growing exotics
Hey shamrock, I saw that sunlight and those plants outside and was somewhat intrigued. Then read the description and "December 23-24..." and totally made sense 😂.
Those dragon fruits look great, I'm struggling with seed grown yellows, don't seem too be as hardy as the red ones (both bought at HEB)
What an awsome collection 😍 thank you sooo much for showing, I would love to have the Veragated Dragon and also Chimera, let me know if you trade or sell, loving all your videos
I also have fruit seedlings and they are doing great. My goal is to plant tamarind seeds
Where are you in Texas and how cold do you get? I'm in New Zealand and wanting to compare cold hardiness of your tropicals to mine. Great collection!
She's somewhere in Austin. Central Texas/Hill Country. It's what's known as zone 8b here in the US.
Usually it doesn't get colder than -5C, occasionally we get -8, -10 (I live in Austin too). Last year's storm got to -16C at one point, and I think that was almost the record low
@@pozzowon Thank you! Oh my, that is freezing. I cannot believe her tropicals actually survive.
Hello, I'm impressed! Can you tell me where did you buy your greenhouses from?
We bought the two small greenhouses at Harbor Freight (~$125).
I purchased the large one on Amazon: Erommy 7.5FT Portable Hexagonal greenhouse.
