It's kinda upsetting to know that his illness made him insane at the end of the game, he wasn't exactly a typical antagonist to begin with (he could have been that jerk-ish friend of the trio and had somewhat remain loyal to both Jimmy and Pete). Damn, I love this character so much :'(

He would have used him, yes, and it would probably have been a sort of agreement rather than a hearty friendship, but even a sadistic, bossy wannabe-dictator can have fun with his subordinates, as seen in the "original version" of the Halloween mission.

Constantinos is the school mascot and an important member of the Jocks , Gary must have tried to manipulate him to get to Ted or Demon but it didn't work

Constantinos is the EXACT kind of guy that would be a foil to Gary. Not only is he smart like Jimmy, but he also doesn't take shit from anyone like Jimmy, and he's just as witty, pessimistic, and sarcastic as Gary is minus the psychopathy. Sure Gary would probably fold Constantinos in a fight, but he wouldn't be able to manipulate him or anyone else around him. I'm suprised he doesn't hate Constantinos more than Jimmy seeing as Jimmy at least did dirty work for Gary on several occasions where as I imagine Constantinos wouldn't have done anything for Gary even the more tame tasks.

I think it's a really awesome plot point, without his betrayal the story would mean less to me. BUT, I think it should have happened much, much later. It didn't hit as hard because we kind of knew he was going to be a problem from the first second, but if we would have grown more attached to him as a friend it would have really hurt to be betrayed.
All those lines sound like Gary will be featured more often, because if he has 20 minutes of lines and a lot of them are unused, it's really sad that his appearance was cut too soon.
