My first banjo teacher was a friend of Alan and got him to come and play for us many years ago. There may have been ten of us there. He was so amazing and so nice. Still have his autographed Festival Favorites. Thanks for bringing back the memories!! You all are great!
Well done Ben & Sisters. In 1977 I got turned on to Alan Munde when I got the album "Together Again For The First Time" - Sam Bush & Alan Munde. Great group of players on that album. Still one of my favorites.
Cracker Barrel called. They want their fireplace back! But seriously, great video as others have said that banjo harmony was amazing, but let's not forget that guitar driving that rhythm. Thanks for making and sharing this. Glad it only took a few takes otherwise I think we might have seen a few more tanned leather straps in the General Store! 😉😉
@@BanjoBen That would be fantastic to see you here and maybe run a few workshops. Last year the Kruger bros came to the north of England along with the Deering family, loved all of it.
Outstanding! And a fitting tribute to a great person, influential banjo player and Flying Burrito Brother! BTW- Don't you own a music store? Any chance you could hook up the chick banjo player with a nice new banjo head? Hers seems to have too many notes in it. :-)
So many questions: is this in memoriam of Alan? Are the women twins or is that computer wizardry? How long did it take to master all those thumb notes on the fifth string? How many years does she have on that banjo head? And so on.,... that was fun, good job!
I have watched this several times now. It always makes me smile...Thank you!
Beautiful. I attended one of Alan's summer Bluegrass camps in '94, slept in the dorms at South Plains, and had a one-on-one lesson with him.
Absolutely fantastic... 3 jedis of picking right there. 😉👍
Amazing,beautiful,lovely😊
Please do more of these videos! I really love this!!!

I'm STILL smilin' 2 loads of wash later-- Allen Munde sure taught you some great playin' As he would say, "COOL!" (and be right!) Thanks!
Beautiful Wish I could play like that
Beautifully played, all three! It's such a sweet tune, especially when the two banjos harmonize.
Happy New Year!
Awesome this really shows how beautiful of an instrament a banjo is.
Came for a much needed smile, ended up with a big ole face hurting grin 😁! Just perfect, enjoyed it, & fixing to watch again... Thank you!

Amazing. Any chance the harmony tab will be available?
Yep, I'll have both on the site soon!
Absolutely beautiful! Honest now, how many takes did you guys do?
Not that many, but more than one!
@@BanjoBen Well the result speaks for itself. Happy New Year to y'all
Finer than frog hair. Alan will surely approve.

Great performance guys, just whoever shot it got a bit too excited with all the camera angles - I find it distracting
That would be me...too much coffee!
I particularly appreciated all the many angles. Good for anyone trying to learn the tune and how it was played. Thank you Ben.
🪕🪕👏👏❤️❤️
Love it!
