Wuon Odidi I have subscribed to your RUclips channel because of the show I watched on Lynn Ngugi. Your story was amazing and inspiring. I live in Qatar and I want to assure myself that what you e done I will do it too. Your story has encouraged me moving forward. You’re a blessing man. Hata Mimi I’ll go to the village. That has been my plan anyways. Thank you.
Beautiful home! Thanks for welcoming us and also for those great pointers. Food handling jumped out for me. At functions when food is left out from lunch time until dinner time and then packed as take away, that's lead to stomach issues for me. Dental issues are def a thing here as well. Asante!!
Your observations are very good things to consider. In my mid twenties, It was only by the grace of God that I lived after driving without sufficient rest. From that experience I would rarely allow someone to drive me anywhere of distance if I didn’t know their drinking and SLEEPING habits. And, when it became available, I rarely used cruise control because I felt too relaxed. 😮
I absolutely love this brother. Very impressive. I myself am building a home in Rusinga as we speak and you have inspired me further. Wishing you continued success.
Hello Didi Owuon, nice topic. One thing I observed is people using charcoal jiko for warming up the house while the windows are closed. Most people back home still dont know about carbon monoxide poisoning.
A very beautiful lady and home. A true Luopean indeed. I got stuck at the description of DIEP. We called it Distribution of Exterior Products in my village primary school somewhere in South Gem. Thanks for highlighting the safety issues. I lead Safety in my organization and currently we are focusing on winter safety. Today we got our first snow...lol. The list of things that kill our people is long. I remember talking to my builders and insisted on making them do another extra door in a house for safety. They could not understand why am wasting money. But I go to sleep better because I know when fire breaks out many people die in Kenya without an exit. Some houses are built with only one exit door. And many times it is burglar proofed. Keep it up omin.

Also Add: Using too much of toilet washing detergent/powder. Honestly I nearly died one day out of that. Mixing Harpic with other toilet cleaning stuff thinking am killing germs. Beware. Also too much of house scent and burning so many candles with weird smell can affect your sense of smell. For this I watched a Kenyan vlogger "Nairofey" talking about it sometimes back. Another thing to beware off. Using too much of body spray while handling an infant. I saw a lady who did that to a few weeks old baby and the baby started sneezing blood until the doctor questioned her about it. Beware as well.
My brother, when you get back to the village kindly do a video of "Bio-Gas". How efficient it is to cook using it. Is it clean? What the cost of installing? I had requested you to do it. Thanks
Why is American architecture and house design far much better than ours in Kenya? I've noticed most American houses have character to them; something most Kenyan houses don't have. It's all about gypsum ceilings here. Look at that kitchen! Spacious and you can clearly see how full of character it is. The backyards is also full of character and beautiful. What's wrong with Kenyan architects? We do have some lovely homes in Kenya but these are less than 1%.
12 year old in the same bed - is extreme. Maybe when the child decides to share how the parents have their prayers, only then will they move the child out of their bed and room.
@@WuonOdidi Thanks for your response; I understand. PS: I also grew up in Oyugis, I had the most magical childhood/primary schooling there in the early 2010's.
@WuonOdidi sleeping with your kid on the same bed makes you understand her better like how he breaths while he sleeps and all the pattern of movement he make while sleeping .same of us parent tent to notice same of sicknesses conditions on our kids later when it's to late because of the your point No.1,the only time your not allowed to sleep on the same bed with your kid is when her body start to change into puberty...that's all for point No.1 thank you😊
We always slept with all our three kids in our bed until they were old enough. European Americans are the ones who sleep far away from their kids because of individuality.
Don't remind me of water I almost died just after drinking water from a home in Kitusuri ,I became very ill, doctors wondered how am able to walk and theTyphil bacteria is high in my blood. I can never drink water from any household
This home is absolutely beautiful. When I grow up
