Truly a shame the WoW community mostly watches clickbait negative rage bait videos and reactions, as I firmly believe this channel and part of the community is one of the best out there. Up there toe to toe with Hazel and MrGM. Your chill guides of legacy content and positive vibes kept my love for WoW afloat during the massive hate wave of 2021 and I hope you keep doing what you're doing regardless of the niche!
sadly a lot of people want to rage and complain, but in the end that does nothing, i'd rather enjoy the game even when people keep calling Dragonflight underwhelming.
As someone who got monetized literally yesterday, I'll make sure to watch and like the lesser viewed guides! Good luck with getting back to your average! 🧡
I have found views on YT for WoW to fluctuate massively with how popular the game is at that moment in time, the difference between now and the start of an expansion is just crazy. Also ya like you said taking the time and effort to come up with anything original isn't rewarded on YT.
While cannot explain how exactly what utube is doing, I think you should be monetized for all the great content Kraken Latte has provided for years. You are a hero in the wow communiy.
I too, will watch that whole playlist to support your efforts!! There are many there I have watched, but the ones I have not I will surely learn something new! You are THE BEST at guides and useful info for WoW and such an important asset to the WoW community. Please please please everyone support Kraken!!
Kraken Latte, I love your channel and playstyle. I'm a casual gamer who cannot always afford WoW, so currently I'm on a break. I love the mount farms and gold farms you provide. They are really concise and thorough! Thanks for all your efforts!!!
oh? on break eh? yeah i was on a break, for about a week. XD chose the wrong time to give myself a vacation from WoW, as the Kalimdor Cup is beginning tuesday, as well as Timewalking and following after that will be holidays. i'lll need to find a good month to truly take a break in 2024. lol
This is the best way I’ve seen anybody self promote! Thank you so much for this instead of begging for money! I will watch this playlist tomorrow when I’m off work! I always loved your work in BFA and through shadowlands! Keep doing you! 🎉
Only just found your channel! Been playing WoW since vanilla and have only just decided to actively pursue mounts and achievements, and your channel is so amazing for this! Subbed and like. I really appreciate these niche channels I hope you keep it up, great content!
Honestly? There are too many thematically diverse channels on YT and there's slowly not enough time to watch everything you want to. Especially since, unfortunately, due to lack of time, I don't play World of Warcraft anymore either. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, though, that you manage to achieve all your goals.
Keep it up Kracken. I like your videos. Been subscribed for some time now, I just rarely see them on my front page. I'm guilty of being subscribed to probably too many channels and everything gets washed over. We will do what we can to watch the videos as you ask.
How are you not monetized -.- If you move your lesser viewed content to another account that is not monetized, would that help you? Higher % useful content if you do that I think?
Kraken Latte I just want to reach out to you and say thank you for making the content that you make I didn’t realize but your Brutosaur guide was litterally how I found you and literally the path I followed to be the proud owner of the handy long Boi I absolutely play wow in same way so I always find your content to jive heavily with what I love so much about world of Warcraft I’m a more casual low stress player and I like playing in a fashion that doesn’t require any commitments or not so focused on gear or dps I tend to play solo for that reason so your style is exactly for me however I recognize it’s not for everyone and maybe I need to put myself out there and say hey I play wow like this too and that you are not alone and maybe be a bit more vocal. It’s hard I can’t exactly comment on why or how the RUclips algorithms work the way they work but I will do my best to watch your older videos too if it means the algorithm shot puts you to the front page 🎉 your awesome Kraken keep doing what your doing and at the end of the day just make sure in anything that you do that you are happy and that it brings you joy and fulfillment I know we each are on our own paths and sometimes we fall in and out of love with wow but just know that your content is amazing and your views and how you play the game are valid and and shared with many liked mined souls ❤
I think there was also something going on, I hardly ever get reccomended your channel when I used to have all the new stuff. I kept watching them when they popped up, but I stopped getting them on my page. I just now saw this one...
I think it could be cool, if you did a top 5 or top 10 on what dungeons and raids you like the most and explain why (not based on how many raw gold the raid or dungeon gives). Maybe from each expansion and maybe from all dungeons and raids.
I'm watching and I'm not even playing the game currently. Your channel helped me get my toys over 600, my mounts over 600, and companions in the thousands. Good luck with your goals.
Perfect timing. I was looking for something good to watch during my gold farms. This playlist will be twice as useful as I'll probably learn something relevant to what I'm actually doing. Thank you!
Kraken Latte is wow awesome, I can think of nothing but thanks. The way you describe the complexity of how to add a xfaction char in one video makes your chan a place that I want to be on. Your guides for leving are indispensable. I want to thank you for your contribution to the WOW community!
Loved that you keep an archive channel!!! Thank you so much for not removing these guides! What gives you the best profit, patreon or the youtube join button?
Hey Kraken, I am in! Love watching you anyway, so thanks for the new Playlist with - so far - least watched guides. ;-) And, while I am here, a little bit of constructive feedback: I have 90+ WoW-Characters, and while each one is dear to me, I always struggle with rounding them all up. Fun struggle. ^.^ You are the only person in the universe I know of who juggles even more Chars than that. I follow your content for everything about Alt-Armies, and I would love to watch something like weekly or monthly vlogs about the everyday stuff you did with your alts. Who did you level, what did you farm, which skill did you progress ... all the little things summed up. You have a wonderful way of presenting your ideas and strategies, and I get a lot of inspiration from that for my own gameplay. Good thoughts!
@@KrakenLatte Thank you for your kind reply. Then I will check out your archive Channel for sure! ;-) Unfortunately, I have a hard time catching you live on stream regularly. All the best from Germany! :D
As someone who's benefited greatly from your guides, I'm more than happy to have your lesser known guides playlist run while i paint and/or as background while I do other things. thank you for everything you do! I hope you meet your mark!
definitely wish you luck on your modest goal, Kraken. i know that i give every video that you post some of my time when i'm not playing WoW, we fun-loving Casuals gotta stick together! btw, i am farming for Eche'ro right now, it's been up since Tuesday and i'm already a quarter of the way after farming for about an hour. will be finally glad to get that Mount!
Thanks for your amazing content. I do certainly understand how much work it takes to make videos put your time into it. I'm YT that's small i don't have the time a lot to make videos everyday myself. I'm not that big of channel like you are. What amazing content i will try help out watch as many of low videos as i can this weekend! Everything you do Awesome once i get some money on hand i will sub to you as well. Leveling guides are a dream best to me at least. I watched speedrun guides nope can't do it they want you to get all this potions such. To honest i don't really use anything. just gear heirlooms you said in video. I don't even think it matters to much on your guides. I level so fast through your guides i don;t need them. You need gold to buy them. I usually make toons on different realms no gold anyway. I level up 70 watching your amazing guides. Thanks again now off watch some low videos of yours so they stay
Heck yeah I'll watch your videos KL! :) I love your channel, been watching since you made the guide on gold farming, your stuff is right up my alley. I was curious though, do you get credit for people re-watching things they've already viewed?
I have been following a lot of channels since I started playing WoW in Wotlk, and I have never seen such detail and effort on guides in any of the other channels as you do. I'll be supporting you even though I stopped playing some months ago, but this is something worth fighting for. And of course, Congratulations on the videos, super usefull, chill, complete and detailed, trully exceptional quality. Big hug from Spain!❤
Literally last week i was suggested one of your videos and got back into them again and subscribed this morning. Sorry your channel has taken a hit. Dipped out of the game during shadowlands and stopped watching wow content. I really love that your videos are not click baity and how casual watching it is.
Hope you get back to your average. I don't play WoW anymore, but I'll keep watching your videos as a sort of small podcast because I think you make great content. Good luck!!
One thing I'll comment on is that for a video like this in particular, it feels a bit odd to bookend it with the standard prerecorded intro/outro. I personally prefer not having those segments unless they make sense for the video, but I see a lot of other creators do it as well so maybe it's something RUclips encourages. Sucks that interest has kinda died off though. To your credit, most of the WoW-related videos I've watched have been from you (aside from meme videos), but I haven't played much WoW lately and so also haven't really been watching either. YT did recommend this one to me though so that's why I'm here!
Come on now, you want higher viewer numbers then you gotta do what the pros do and give some fake rage every time Blizz adds some cosmetic/mount to the store. That's what gets the people paying attention to you! Then you have to update your thumbnails to reflect just how ticked you are that a company is doing what a company should be doing, offering you something in the hopes that you will buy it. You need to repeat the same mantra that they all do "Blizz is bad. Blizz is bad. Blizz is bad" and cave in to what your chat demands of you. Oh and you gotta talk smack about Asmon too. Dropping his name is an instant 1k views. Do all this and watch your views skyrocket.
I appreciate your videos and recently stumbled upon you via an article unrelated to what your video was about. Your video was about enhancing the way you fish. I found your video life-changing. Thank you for making it.
Hope you get some more views for your videos! I love your approach of having very in-depth guides to pretty niche topics (like farming anima an expansion later to get all the goodies there), but I could see where that may not translate the best for views. You could try having some polls to your viewers about potential video topics before digging into making them. Maybe some videos about each profession and the unique transmog they have (along with pattern locations) would be cool. Either way, hope you can continue doing what you're doing!
To be honest, I think a probable reason for WoW content creator views dropping over the past couple of years is that subs dropped rapidly throughout Shadowlands, and Dragonflight sales were poor. And of the smaller number of players remaining, most of them have been subbed to the game through thick and thin and have had their fill of legacy content during the content lulls, resulting in a playerbase that rushes to do any new content as soon as it is released, and even content from a patch ago is deserted. Your guides, however, are extremely well produced and helpful, and I love listening to your videos and streams as I play WoW. Hope more players discover your channels and you reach your goals!
Awww I'm really sorry to hear that Kraken Latte. Your seriously my favorite in the whole world, I love your humor and how the casual content, I didnt know how to teleport that you showed us! That was so helpful
WoW content has been declining lately... by a significant magnitude. Interests in WoW seems to have hit a lull for the moment so I hope you not get discouraged. I'm sure things will pick up around the next expansion.
@krakenlatte please update levelling guides for the latest expansion. Also please put up tips for solo players and how they can farm higher tier gear or craft it. Also any auction house guides will help. Thanks ...
Azeroth is a lot emptier than it used to be and as a soloist of world content nowadays, it saddens me. Happy to help though normally I only watch when I need some info as I prefer to play then watch someone else's game and I prefer to watch (video, duh) than to listen. Your videos are prefect when it comes to instructions and btw they are my first choice if there is one on the topic I need. They are very well done!
@@KrakenLatte - Suggestion/request. Drop the videos over an hour, maybe over 40 minutes? I can leave it on repeat but it's 195 videos, at an average of 10 minutes that takes me a 32.5 hours to get through the whole list. There are 3 videos that represent 6 hours of time, to maximize bang for the buck replay views, dropping the really big videos would make a lot of sense.
I apologize that i did not click the like button, I was under the misconception that is if you actively place a channel, that you automatically, send likes
I found you fairly recently, but its refreshing to see a content creator who plays like I do. Your Playlist sounds like it's perfect to play in the background while I'm working from home ❤
I think all WOW players are suffering from Shadowlands PTSD. I have heard other WOW creators say that their pull is not as great as it was. It is no reflection on the quality of your content. Keep up the great work. I will happily will check out your less viewed stuff.
7 days a week for me, though i have just finished taking a week off. with holidays coming i wont be able to take another one the rest of the year. lol@@matthewhilty4209
New to WOW (less than 4 months), love your informational guides that save me time, and format is easy to watch/listen. Picked 3 that interest me from your list to watch, then I will play your playlist as background while I do other tasks. Thanks for all you do!
I make it a point to like every vid I watch but you have to understand time is a major resource that we don't generally have. Especially since nowadays, most WoW players that stick around to farm are in their thirties or older and have jobs and families and very limited time. As much as I want to help, you also have to pick your battles better. I mean you must know why your vid with the 5 mil mount did so well aside from visibility - it was helpful when people needed it. It was something on a short time a lot of people needed fast so it was the right thing at the right *time*. I'm subbed to you, so I watch most of your vids if I think there's even some chance I'll learn something new or fun (like the water walking thing which wasn't useful to me, but it was fun to listen to). But even I'm not gonna watch something I've fully finished ages ago - like Darkmoon tickets stuff and Grateful offerings. And I do watch your trading post vids but by the time yours are out I've already been recommended at least 3 vids on the subject so most people would just skip unless they specifically want to hear your opinion on the items. I'm one of those people that actually click 'subscriptions' every day and watch almost every single vid from people I'm subbed to, but how many people do that... Also, looking at my own guild (a heroic, WoW pop has dwindled so it may be a direct cause. During SL and the scandal, Blizz released the most unbalanced raid and they didn't let us play it. Had to wait weeks for them to nerf Anduin, then wait weeks for nerf for the next boss and so on. We lost so many players. Nobody wants to get frustrated. The players we lost never returned.
I think you're honestly the most informative non-current wow channel I listen to, and your guides like the previous one about Anima farming are always needed.
Happy to help. I enjoy your content but there are certain topics that are not for me. I do appreciate your positive spin on things and the way you create your content. I will be watching lots of videos to help. Best wishes.
My personal advice: Transmog videos, videos about unknown addons - and ask other youtubers if they could help you.. and yes, this also includes Asmongold, who can certanly see the value of your unique content.
if she collabs with anyone it should be people happy about the game at current, not whining and doing jack like Asmongold who has become a Classic Andy in his old age.
I'm sure people will say that this is callous or call me an ass for saying this, but at a certain point you have to create content that the wider audience is interested in. As you note, you do very niche content for a very niche audience; which is old, solo/duo content, and you make great guides for that. The benefit of such content is that there isn't much competition, but the downside is that by and large, most WoW players aren't going to watch. I've been both a hardcore player (CE raider+) and a casual player (right now, not raiding). Even when I was a hardcore player, I found a lot of your guides really helpful. However, there is also content that you make that, no matter how casual, isn't really that interesting to player. For example, your latest video, how to waterwalk and slow fall as any class, just isn't going to appeal to anyone outside of mild curiosity more than anything. I do think it's a bit much to ask your audience to go out of their way to watch content that doesn't interest them just to artificially pump your numbers. Everyone is stretched for time these days and it seems nothing more than a bandaid fix to the larger problem, which is a lot of recent videos just aren't that interesting to WoW players. We can all go back and watch your videos with under 10k views, but that doesn't really solve the long-term problem and I think you'll find yourself in the exact same spot in a year from now. I think a far better approach would be to find content that the casual WoW audience is actually interested in. Additionally, I think a lot of your channel is content that people find later on. Not a whole lot of people are going to be interested in anima farming or great offering farming now, after shadowlands, in patch 10.1.5. But it's very likely that people who become interested in that content at some point in the future, stumble upon your video. I think your guides have staying power in a way that a lot of other WoW youtube content creator videos don't have. For that reason, I would leave a lot of them up, even if they are below 10k views right now, because people will probably go back and watch them. Finally, I'll leave you with this; there's nothing wrong with "selling out". Everyone has to meet a bottom line or put food on the table. I watch a number of your videos and I really don't think you advertise your twitch stream enough or your patreon. I also don't think there's anything wrong with creating mildly 'clickbait' videos if that's what it takes to generate views. We all understand the game that youtube content creators have to play. Sometimes you just have to play ball. Anyway, hope this helps and just a few of my thoughts, because I like a lot of the stuff you produce and want to see you continue to make videos.
ill be a steady veiwer when i start playing subbing to wow again when wow classic becomes free and maybe ill sub and play retail. make wow classic free. im playing on turtle wow rn

The content I've enjoyed from you are the leveling guides, gold making, and alt army stuff.
Awww I'm really sorry to hear that Kraken Latte.
Your seriously my favorite in the whole world,
I love your humor and how the casual content,
I didnt know how to teleport that you showed us!
I have found SO many useful videos from you! I love your channel so much. I hope you continue to grow & be successful. ♥
I loved you horde and alliance leveling guide for Shadowlands.. I used them for all my alts. Have been waiting for a new one for dragonflight!
Huh? I'm really surprised, your channel is really high quality
Time to put on that list while painting WH40k minis.
Any other way to help the algorithm apart from likes and comments?
Pretty much it! thank you so much! ;w;
Already subbed and liked the video. Here's a comment for the video to be picked up :D
I'll be having the playlist going in the background. I hope it helps you!
I apologize that i did not click the like button, I was under the misconception that is if you actively place a channel, that you automatically, send likes
Do repeat views count for the algorithm? Cause I can put the playlist on autoplay turn the volume down and just let it go
Was thinking of something to listen to while I do this brain drain farm I am working on. Hope it helps you and me both.
I found you fairly recently, but its refreshing to see a content creator who plays like I do. Your Playlist sounds like it's perfect to play in the background while I'm working from home ❤
Going to get on this right now! I love your WoW guides and use them frequently!
Always happy to support u kraken! Seeing your old oblivion videos made me smile cause I really liked them! :)
I like your channel because you have the same mindstate like me. I also hate all the MAKE 100,000,000 GOLD PER HOUR crap videos. Keep it up!
especially when they are false AF, they rely too much on a fluctuating economy that will bottom out as soon as the content stops being relevant.
the ambiance videos is exactly how i found you.
Keep the wow content creators ALIVE!!!
No probs love, we'll get you coffee tips from those heartless corps :)
Thanks!
Thank you so much!!
:D i'm off work for a few days. i got you! love your videos
I think all WOW players are suffering from Shadowlands PTSD. I have heard other WOW creators say that their pull is not as great as it was. It is no reflection on the quality of your content. Keep up the great work. I will happily will check out your less viewed stuff.
a lot of players are also treating WoW like an ex that cheated on them, which is sadge as they could be enjoying themselves right now in Dragonflight.
Absolutely ! I am enjoying Dragonflight at least 4 nights a week. @@UltimateGamerCC
7 days a week for me, though i have just finished taking a week off. with holidays coming i wont be able to take another one the rest of the year. lol@@matthewhilty4209
you can do it!
Algo helper!!!
Thank you for giving me something to listen to while doing my household chores :D I enjoy your content and vibe so keep going!
Happy to help. I enjoy your content but there are certain topics that are not for me. I do appreciate your positive spin on things and the way you create your content. I will be watching lots of videos to help. Best wishes.
I love to watch all the videos you put out. I’m happy to go through and replay everything on your playlist.
Enjoy your channel and share it with many solo players that are interested in the type of content you do.
Anyway, hope this helps and just a few of my thoughts, because I like a lot of the stuff you produce and want to see you continue to make videos.
put in the work that ppl are interested and you will get the views alot of times a job is not fun
ill be a steady veiwer when i start playing subbing to wow again when wow classic becomes free and maybe ill sub and play retail. make wow classic free. im playing on turtle wow rn
it feels like wow is dead
oh brother. . . get a life, Doomer.
