The old 'Downtown Disney' was great for the times and holds nostalgia for us but the new look is on a different level. Only negative is there are too many pretentious overprices shops (many have been and gone demonstrating that they haven't worked) so more 'affordable' shops would be a good move (not talking Target but you know what I mean). Nice music.
I still call it Downtown Disney out of habit. 😭💜
it’ll always be downtown disney in my heart. but new disney springs is amazing, i find myself missing it just as much as the parks

been listening to these for about 8 months now between disney trips to get my fix. this is definitely my favorite. hope more content is coming from the parks soon!
I was a CP Cast Member in 2005-06 and I worked at DTD(Downtown Disney) which at the time was the Marketplace, Pleasure Island, and West Side.
This is the type of music I think of West Side (which by the water side at West Side played normally Disney Mannheim Steamroller in my memories) mostly.
Very catchy music and it's been years and DTD now Disney Springs (in my heart I still by default think of it as Downtown Disney) and much has changed yet I can still see parts of the past, what once was, and a knowledge the new and enjoy what I've discovered.
This part of WDW has a part of my past & heart and I think of it equally to the four parks.
Walking around Disney Springs is such a vibe when I’m vacationing in Florida with the family. Love it so much

Such a nice thing to have between Disney trips. Especially since I don’t really have family down in Florida anymore and less of a reason to go, well, and cost. Only thing I would say is that World of Disney isn’t that scenic looking and it would have been nice to have had a prettier view.
