Yeah I've had one for a couple years now. I have the LED version and the regular bulb but yeah it doesn't zap them. Obviously you know that now and it doesn't chop them up. It sucks them down into the trap and it just dries them out. So if you empty it too soon they just fly away before they're dead.... I'm telling you where I live in the Midwest. It does a great job. I get everything in there mosquitoes moths now cicadas emptying it constantly.
