TBM Bertha repair update

October 8, 2015. STP Project Manager Chris Dixon reflects on the repair efforts to TBM Bertha, the 17.6m diameter Hitachi Zosen machine that has been stranded since December 2014 after suffering bearing seal damage. The world record TBM should resume its 2.6km drive under downtown Seattle later this year (2015).
