Okay, bought this axe about a month ago, and the first thing I did was replace the handle. The one it comes with is too short for the weight of the axe head. Put the head on a 22 inch long handle, and it is so much better now. I use a sledgehammer handle, made of ash. It is a good axe in the long run.
Question for you guys, been trying to rack my brain on how to get this done... I currently have the other 3 t-hawks in the woods line (nobo, chogan and kangee) and plan on getting this soon. How do i go about getting all 4 blades (the other 3) to match? Can you guys coat for me if i send them back, or what kind of coating is on the berserker so i can get someone to match it. Any info would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
Thanks for your question. The Berserker has a Manganese Phosphate Coating on the blade, whereas the Nobo, Chogan, and Kangee are finished with a clear lacquer.
@@crkt why are all your axes casted soft metal? It seems I have to sharpen it every time I use it. It doesn't hold an edge very well as a matter of fact it's pretty useless for wood...
My love for you is like a truck BE-ZER-KER!!!

Cool axe
Do you guys temper any of your tomahawks?
Is there a stainless steal version... Cutlery purposes.

Beautiful axe worth every penny bought 2
Is the poll hardened so it can be used as a hammer?
Not at all. In fact, it's casted mild steel
@@1480-b5g stop talking nonsense it is hardened. The whole thing is made of 1055 carbon steel.
@@antonio8393 its cast junk soft as hell better to hang on the wall.
@@crazytoken771222345 1055 is 60-64 hrc... where are you getting your information from?
@@antonio8393 I own one and im not to happy with it.
CRKT cant do handles. Poorly fitted, mass produced with sloppy tolerances. Get one of these and expect the head to fly off or the handle to break.
Cool toy... Completely useless though.. Horrible design too..
What's a better axe? And why's this axe so horrible to you?
what makes you say that?
