  • Patricia and Robin Oldfield moved to Lower Brookshill in 2010, looking for a small retirement project. But what they found were ten acres of overgrown land and a shell of a house in its centre.
Masses of brambles and dying trees was not enough to put Patricia and Robin off the project, who decided with plenty of hard work it would be possible to release the potential of the garden.

Thank you so much for sharing this and letting us enjoy your garden. I moved to an apartment without a garden last year and miss my flowers so much.

Really enjoyed seeing your garden, we too are just under 1000ft but further north in Cumbria with open moorland vistas, so extremely exposed to wind rain and snow and all that brings. So appreciate the problems you may face.
Hopefully when the world recovers we can visit your garden as parts of the OGS, only wish the video was longer.
    Thank you for sharing

WOW!!! You’ve done an AMAZING transformation in a such short time!!! It’s hard to recognize the before and afters as the same place, the land is truly feeling loved and nurtured and rewarding you both with an abundance of beauty and renewal. Thank you for the inspiration and please make another video soon, the artistry and gorgeous vistas are truly stunning!!!🌿👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏💐❤️

Beautiful garden ,what a transformation! Shame you can’t sell your wild flowers this year as I’m starting a wildlife meadow myself and would have bought some !
