She started playing more aggressive in the last few games. Absolutely terrible. She looked drained tho.

That's why Sakkari incorporated heaps of drop shots later on in the match, she couldn't handle the baseline rallies. Playing at over 1,500m above sea level changes the whole dynamic of the game, which a lot of people don't seem to realise. Not to mention it was quite windy. Very tough conditions to play in.
Looking like an inevitable Kontaveit vs. Badosa final. Hard to imagine Kontaveit loosing with the form she's in right now, but you never know. I'm rooting for Paula!

She had long season, all of them had. You can't really blame badosa for being slow to react. Indian Wells Marathon drained her badly on top of a drilling season. Imagine playing for hours under 30+ degree in the desert. I can't imagine.

Un poco más de respeto a Badosa, quien está haciendo un tenis de alto CI, manejando las situaciones, la mente y el game plan a la altura de las grandes y experimentadas. Y a perfiles así, solo se las gana a base de asumir mucho riesgo y golpes ganadores...
Pues no hizo eso. Jugó conservadora y metió pocos golpes ganadores (por eso no salen en el resumen). Fue la táctica correcta, porque dominó el partido de principio a fin.
