I subscribed to this set the second I saw your video for pack 1. I did this pack last week. It’s sooooo incredibly fiddly but the details are just amazing and so rewarding I love it
Good afternoon Wayne I’ve just subscribed to this car from your website 👍 car looks outstanding 👍👍👍 I also got the movie senna as well such a shame what happened to him.
The build is coming along and looking great. Too bad it's no longer available and never reached the U.S. market. Glad to see your getting over the flu.
I am enjoying watching your builds. Just as you were wrapping up this episode and were showing the car, as you were putting it down my left brain chuckled thinking how it looked a bit like you were setting down a lobster. 😅 Don't mind me....great show!
My favourite build you are currently doing is starting to look great. If I ever visited you when this is finished I might have to try and sneak it up my jumper.😂😂😂 Just kidding. Glad to hear you're sounding a lot better.
Hi Wayne...lolol I guess you didn't see all my messages to you on this build... First off that metal wire on the caliper needs to be all the way through the other side so that the bent side is touching the caliper wall... you'll have to guide the wires into the tiny holes with your tweezers like I had to... Secondly your guide arms are not all the way down on the vertical support like you think it is... Just look on the inside of your wheel rim and its problely rubbing... Like i had said... your going to have to drill out the guide arms so that they fit down correctly... It can be done carefully with a Dremel tool... The right front side is going to be worse then the left your doing now... And the last thing is you didn't reverse the tire on your rim like i had said... Your tread is running backwards...lolol Now also make sure you don't have any vertical wobble in your wheel if you do...no matter how tight you put the screw in to hold it...they didn't drill the hole deep enough in the vertical support.. So just grind down the screw a little bit and it'll work...but the right wheel is going to have alot more problems... Let your viewers know this... Take care mate...get well....best regards always from across the pond...
@@WorldofWayneUK cool 😎...yeah that caliper rod on the real caliper travels all the way through so the bent part of the wire touches the caliper... Look at the top of your steering arm on the vertical post.. The steering arm hole should be all the way down onto the shaft until it hits bottom then the flange screw goes on... Make sure that all the arms that are screwed onto the vertical support are fitting all the way down till they stop... This will be correct and you'll notice it's much smoother to turn the wheels... You'll be able to tell by looking at the inside of the wheel rim and if the screws holding everything on are too close to the inside rim... that'll tell you you need to grind them down... I contacted De Augestini and they said they had numerous problems from people on this... And yeah just put the right tire on the left side as long as it's going the right way...lolol 🤣 Best there mate...
@@robinaroundtown...2194 I had the same issue on the steering arm screw but didn’t notice it was rubbing the wheel until the next stage when I tried putting on the other wheel. Ending up filling the loop on the steering arm so it went on flush.
@@rdgSport hi ..yeah the right front is more of a problem... All of the metal arms wheather steering or supports need to be completely down till they stop on the vertical support..lol And one of the brake discs needs the plastic opened up just a little on the inside half so that it goes all the way down onto the vertical support and so that the caliper and disc sits inside of the wheel rim... You can compare the two sides and you'll see which one is off... Also like I mentioned to Wayne that on the right vertical support the hole for the wheel screw isn't deep enough and the wheel will wobble so I just cut down the screw and it worked... Some minor problems but it's worth it because it's a beautifully done model...best regards to you...
Hi Wayne, Happy New Year, I have received up to pack 6 of this kit, that was about 2-3 months ago, but since then nothing other then an e-mail stating that they were having logistical issue, I did contact DeAgostini last month for am update for an update and was advised that there still having logistical issue, are you still getting your packages every month? I have heard that DeAgostini sometimes drop kits part way through if they dont sell, having seen the comments that this is now no longer available in the UK do you think I have seen the last of my 97T?

It did reach the US market for a minute, then it was pulled with no explanation. I have 1/2 of the model and it’s really nice.
surely you are entitled to get your money back?@@seanmain3081

Glad I got a subscription to this. Seems like it’s been getting to you around the same time as me.
Happy New year Wayne. the car is looking very nice
My question, after watching you build up the pedals, is how is the driver supposed to get his feet around those two "pillars" to get to the pedals??
The pillars are actually behind the pedals
Glad hear your sounding alot better+ahappy new yr to you
