Thanks for the serious review of the Stooges, if such a thing is possible. I'm one of those that liked this one, and I"m a fan of the early stuff, because you get to watch the Stooge repertoire grow. While the plot barely holds together, there are still great moments in here. One of my favorite all time Stooge exchanges is in here, when Moe and Larry hook the hooks to the football players pants. Moe: "You've got brains like Napoleon." Larry: "Napoleon's dead." Moe": "I know." Classic comedy from the 30's.
We were asked to comment on the quality of The Three Stooges collection so here is our opinion. The shorts have all been remastered the picture quality is excellent the sound has never been better. The packaging is functional, you might say cheep but, the art work and design is classy if you ask us. No frills, no bells and whistles. It's not something made to display as a trophy purchase. We got what we wanted 190 chronological Stooge shorts. Which had never been done until this Collection.
The three s.are a time fav.its always tight. From when we were kids ,an at movies as fillers or main event.classics down the line. Each has his his own . But when together there a team an brothers. Smile fun an funny An they others that can fill in any time an can hold there own. But curlys seems to be every one's go to. He's mine , with the curly shuffle. .tight Never knew they had so many loaded here. It's great eye tell ya .
