The slit blankets, could still be used as Quilting pads or used with a duvet! I hate when you.leave them. The games great for nursing homes or shelters. Calendars are great for older folk too to also decorate their walls!
It’s so funny, I find myself talking to you while watching your videos! « Ooh! there’s a lot of bins! Take the bins! » and « ahh, no problem, you can just recover those pillows.... » « Ooh, that is NIIIICE! ». Good for you guys, what a waste!
Haha. I actually have a couple really nice duvet covers I got from that dumpster. Painted on the outside of plastic cover but perfect when took out of the plastic.
@Stay Home With Natalie Nicole BAUMC has a clothing donation behind it. They will take clothes shoes linens and such even with stains holes etc. What they cant sell they repurpose. The money goes to help pay for camp for kids that cant afford it. Anytime I find clothes and such they have cut up I donate there.
I would love to purchasers some of those calendars 📆 and the games you guys founded at your first stop ✋🏽 of the night. I am in District Heights Maryland. Just let me know how I can get some of those items.💚💚👌🏾✌🏾.
Yeah, but they keep saying, oh this will be good for my grandmother and or my brother. No mention of the donating to the poor. No way, this is pure greed. Sorry. Please don't encourage these night crawlers !! "THOU SHALL NOT STEAL"
Vicki How is it stealing when the company (or houses that put trash to the curb) has thrown the items into the garbage? They obviously don’t want it, nor intend to keep it seeing as it’s in the garbage.
I work in a department store when we donate items we have to rip labels and tags off clothes so they can't be returned for money it's easier for some stores just to toss it out then rip each tag off then donate it.sad really lots of useful things people can use get tossed into the trash each day and add to the collection of garbage which someone could have been greatful for :(
You shouldn't donate anything except MAYBE DVD'S to nursing homes. What would they do with it? Most elderly people want less. No offence I just happen to have worked in one or two.
Wow I am so jealous of you guys finding so much beding and soft stuff to keep you warm in the winter at all those curtains from that last video from bed Bath and beyond
Right... I've been a diver for well over a decade now and because of all the "publicity" of it and people trashing the area's around it, leaving everything on the ground it's become such a hard thing to do. It's perfectly legal to do but shopping center owners in my area have now put security and police on 24 hour patrol... If you're asked to leave you have to leave because every shopping center is privately owned therefore you can get charged with trespassing now. Stores are replacing regular open cans with locking ones so they can't be accessed. Store employees take extra time to destroy as much as they possibly can. Something that once was so easy and fun to do has now become a waist of time over the past few years...
The arts and crafts store Michaels recalled about 80,000 pink Himalayan salt lamps after it was discovered they could shock or catch fire. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said the lamp's "dimmer switch and/or outlet plug can overheat and ignite, posing shock and fire hazards.
Salt lamp slat is edible. These salt also called as Himalayan salt or pink salt. You can use as a normal salt these salt contain rich minerals good for humans.
Your wife Nicole? is a really good explainer too. I had fun watching & listening to both of you all the amazing finds you found in the Dumpsters. You both work very well together.
Nicole you can take those two plants and set them on a wooden circle inside of that drawer and put some more Greenery in the drawer and it'll really look nice put some little legs on the bottom of the drawer and you can use it to put on your porch to look nice
The sharpie on the stockings will come out in seconds with rubbing alcohol. Just pour over ink, and use paper towels to rub and absorb excess. Takes just a second!
The calendars and games would be good to donate to retirement homes, after schools programs, YMCA... places like that. I would have taken the salt lamps to use a decor lol
To take off magic marker - Dip a cloth or sponge in rubbing alcohol and dab first around the stain, then directly on it. You should see the ink transfer to the paper towel underneath the stain. Change the paper towel often so that the paper can absorb the color. After the stain is removed, wash the clothing as directed in the washing machine.
I'm a crafter and I would love to find the pillows, painted or not cuz I can take the stuffing out and use it to make new pillows. I love your finds in these videos!!
Nicole, you can video a lot of diy videos with the things you found at Kirklands. The items that have an x on them, you can do some crafty things on it, beadwork, sewing, etc.
something I don't understand is..why don't dumpster divers already have bags, boxes or containers (from home) on hand beside the dumpster to put their scores in as soon as they take them out of the dumpster? i'm referring to the smaller items, not the bigger heavy items. i'm not being mean (I promise) but it would save a lot of "handling time" by not having to pick items up 2 or 3 times..plus it would already be contained, somewhat organized and like items together. it might mean less time at each dumpster and making more time for more dumpsters. I work as a sewing machine operator in a textile factory and we are on production where we get paid for how many we do. the more we handle our work, the more time it takes and we make less money. we have to figure out the quickest way possible to handle our work. dumpster divers inspire me to do this one day in the near future. keep up the gr8 work!
@@blessedliving4994 I totally understand your point. the way my brain is wired I have to have a certain amount of organization or my mind is all over the place lol.
Dumb ?, but can you be fined or arrested for dumpster diving? What about someone's garbage on the curb, are you allowed to pick thru it and take or is that considered trespassing or stealing since it's right in front of a house??
The calendars would be a good donation to schools, they can cut them up to make art work. Also care homes for the elderly or disabled could also use the calendars for art projects or even making cards, like for birthdays or Christmas. The care home my late mum was in used old calendars for all kinds of things, even mounting the pictures on card then cutting them up to make simple jigsaw puzzles. When they got bored with them or bits got lost, they just threw them out and made some more. Much love and respect from South East England. xx
DNI (Do Not Inventory) Lol that was ME that told you guys that. That was awesome to hear. LOVE y’all’s videos. I now work at Amazon would love to get in their dumpster but that’d NEVER happen lol. They do donate ALOT of stuff though which is awesome ❤️
the mattress topper can be recovered by sewing a sheet like a huge pillowcase or duvet cover. make it a little loose/a little bit bigger than the mattress topper bc if it's too tight it will be harder to get it on. after you get the new cover on..just sew (by hand or with a machine) the end closed.
People who are struggling to get by would love getting the pillows. That would keep them from laying their heads on the ground. The Corona virus has so many people living on the streets. God bless you both
You can buy or put duvet covers over comforters. You can also buy material tape to patch the slices. You put it underneath the part that shows. And it holds it together and you won't see the slice.
Yes, there is a recall on the salt lamps. They are known to heat up, and crack. One customer indicated her salt lamp cracked, and caught fire. There was one reported injury when the customer was unplugging the defective lamp, her hand was injured while she was unplugging the lamp. The salt base injured her right hand that caused her hand to receive a deep cut. She was hospitalized, and received 64 stitches on her right hand.
It depends on the store, our Target, and K mart, which is gone used to donate to Goodwill, and they would cross the tags prices or tear the price tag off so it probably depends on the manager.
Use perfume to remove marker. Old perfume is stronger and works the best! Sometimes it makes it smelly but usually fades with time. (Much stronger than alcohol)
Actually hair spray and rubbing alcohol will remove spray pain that is dryed on material and along with raw vinager. And finger nail polish helps also on plastic along with cloth material
I found those quiz games at Bed Bath & Beyond but they don't sell them anymore & I didn't see many online either but originally abt $12-$20 now selling for an avg of $8 each so not bad at all
Anytime you find blankets that are cut and you don’t want, you can donate to the humane society
Yes yes yes!!!
yes!!! absolutely kills me. :) kim
Humane society wont take blankets with holes in them. They also do not take comforters. I have donated a lot of stuff there.
Homeless
I would just take the salt lamp ovals and use them as decor
0p0
All the stockings that have x’s if you can’t get the x off maybe you could decorate them with other small things that cover it.
You could salvage the torn comforters. All your need to get is a duvet cover & voila easy fix 😊😊
Haha. I actually have a couple really nice duvet covers I got from that dumpster. Painted on the outside of plastic cover but perfect when took out of the plastic.
When you find unusable Linens why can't you donate them to the dog pounds in the winter they need him badly
Excellent idea
awww lov ethis idea

What a good idea
The homeless would love cozy blankets and they wouldn’t care about it being painted or a pillow that’s been stitched up
Yeah, but they keep saying, oh this will be good for my grandmother and or my brother.
Take the cut my pillow put the stuffing in pillows that have zipper.
yes was thinking the same!
re use that polyester fill

Do u ever go back and get things out or tell someone to so you can have it I would lol
Josh is so cute! He gets excited at almost everything.
Those topiaries will look awesome with your Easter decor Nicole!
Wow! Good job guys! Awesome finds.
You can use the calendar photos for decor in the home. Just rip out the picture and get a frame. 😍🤩 I have done this before and made a collage wall.
You can donate the calendars to a nursing home
You shouldn't donate anything except MAYBE DVD'S to nursing homes. What would they do with it? Most elderly people want less. No offence I just happen to have worked in one or two.
Next time try rubbing compound on the strollers, and appliances..hard surfaces and the tins to remove the spray paint..should take it off
alcohol? what is a rubbing compound product for example
@@valleygirl670 rubbing compound is the stuff used on cars to take the oxidised paint off, like Turtle Wax etc...
Yes it will come off the tins and such easily. Its a lot more work on fabric.
Those calendars are cool to frame 🖼 cool finds!!!
You can use nail polish remover to remove the paint on all appliances and they will look new again
Great score! The pillows could be put in the zippered cages! Glad you got the stuff from going to landfill! Have a great Sunday!😁😁😘
Love you guys. Yall have the realist content on here
I hate it when your videos end. Love the channel. Nicole I'm excited to see your Easter Decorations!!
I enjoy watching you two go thru what you find. Good job on recycling.
Those comforters that are ripped could find homes with quilters who can use them as filling for their own quilts.
Nice to see you two going out together, what a find enjoy the blanket they are so nice and worm.😊💖
those quizzes would make great gifts for Christmas. Wow though what a haul
Wow I am so jealous of you guys finding so much beding and soft stuff to keep you warm in the winter at all those curtains from that last video from bed Bath and beyond
Nice video. Those cut pillows would be a Crafters dream. They use the stuffing when they are making decorative pillows or stuffed animals.
Honestly this is one of the best ones I’ve seen in a long time ! Great job ! Congratulations 🎈🎉🎊 Geri from Iowa 🦋💛🦋💛🦋💛🦋💛
The more people show this the stores cut them up and open and no one gets any
im not sure. but im glad they are doing something about it for our planet

I've been waiting for another video! Love your channel! Good finds there.
Glad to see a new video! Missed you guys! Please more!!! Nicole looks like you have some diy videos out of the dumpsters for your channel!!

Hi guys.. use paint thinners to get paint off things like polished wood and metal etc.. comes off really easy with little effort.
I love watching you two! When I'm caught up on new videos, I go and watch your old ones too! #impatient
Your wife Nicole? is a really good explainer too. I had fun watching & listening to both of you all the amazing finds you found in the Dumpsters. You both work very well together.

Thank you for sharing this video you guys Nicole you found a jackpot live watching it you both have a wonderful day
Some of the cut pillows you can use for polyfill stuffing. Same thing and the bags of craft stuffing is expensive.
you made my birthday even better i love watching you guys both of your chanels
The sharpie on the stockings will come out in seconds with rubbing alcohol. Just pour over ink, and use paper towels to rub and absorb excess. Takes just a second!
yay!
Depends on material.
Hairspray will take ink out of fabric, carpet, etc
Popcorn for the bitds, squirrels, etc. Nice haul!
Some great scores despite the paint and cut damage. Awesome guys💕✌️To you both
Hot glue or sew something over the x marks!! Great finds. Tfs
What do you do with the items that you get do you have a website?
The calendars and games would be good to donate to retirement homes, after schools programs, YMCA... places like that. I would have taken the salt lamps to use a decor lol
Salt lamps are very dangerous for cats and dogs. If the animal licks them they will probably die. The animals are attracted to lamps by the salt.
Take rubbing alcohol to the sharpy marker x and also it works on spray paint as well along with baking soda and powder
Amazing finds at all the stops you guys rock
How cute when nicole reacts with the other UGG blanket ♥️
You could use those draws from that lovely table for decoration of vegie boxes as well
I’ve had good luck using a two part putty to mold and fix ceramics. Works to fix chipped frames too.
you can also decorate the front of the stockings with bows or appliques to cover up the X's
I'm a crafter and I would love to find the pillows, painted or not cuz I can take the stuffing out and use it to make new pillows. I love your finds in these videos!!
grab the drawers!! makes the cutest hanging shelves!!! and can use them for other decor
I wish I was there with y'all having such fun. My friend and I used to dumpster dive too. It was so much fun and we found a lot of neat stuff.
Omgoodness what an awesome score..way to go guys 👍❤️
Those salt lamp balls are great for decor. People put them in baskets and bowls
There are so many good stuff in there Great 👍😊

Carmen Long AGREE❗️
They fill up so fast you end up running out. I think daily diver does this to go back and show everthing they found.
@@blessedliving4994 I totally understand your point. the way my brain is wired I have to have a certain amount of organization or my mind is all over the place lol.

How can I purchase the Marilyn Monroe calendar? My granddaughter loves her.
avec un décapant pour pvc la peinture rose part très bien (dans les magasins piscine )...
I have 3 salt lamps. I just dont leave them on long amounts of time and only when im home. I love them.
Awesome finds! Your hair color is really pretty, Nicole.
Ooooo those Ugg blankets look so comfy!!!!
I got one back in the summer that had a little paint on it. Daily diver had thrown it back in but I did not
Nice to see you guy back diving!!
You can cut foam mattresses to get the paint out and use them to make smaller kids mattresses or for pillows
The calendars would be a good donation to schools, they can cut them up to make art work. Awesome haul❤❤❤❤good job
Those tiny boots are adorable!
Fyi you can use the stuffing in the pillows. It's expensive at the fabric store.
Amazon sells a lot of overstock and returns by the pallets.
That foam is gold
Add fabric to the stockings make them even more personalized or add Pom poms

A lot of those cut pillows could be used as stuffing for homemade toys or even made into a new pillow.
HI you two.glad to see you back diving. Nice haul.
The bedding sets are a great score!! 😊 and the pet toy! Even thought I think it's for cats lol

the "marbles" from the salt lamps are also usable for decor arrangements

Take the destroyed pillows and use the stuffing to make new pillows, stuffed toys for homeless shelters or to give as gifts

It depends on the store, our Target, and K mart, which is gone used to donate to Goodwill, and they would cross the tags prices or tear the price tag off so it probably depends on the manager.
For the stockings just find some pretty material and put like applacates on.
Excited to see your haul
People could still use the salt pieces from the salt lamp.
I want one of those ugg blankets. Do you sell them?
You found some nice stuff. Love watching you guys.
Use perfume to remove marker. Old perfume is stronger and works the best! Sometimes it makes it smelly but usually fades with time. (Much stronger than alcohol)
For the foam bed topper, cut up to pillow case size and donate to animal shelters. Just a thought.
Animal rescuers would probably do the work.
Hairspray works on clothing material use the old Auqanet type . Spray on then wash
Damn girl...you are so lucky with the Ugg👍✌️😊
Use the saltt lamp ballss to but them kinto decrative glass bowles
