Get the background clearly. The lion Air and Ethiopian airline that crashed were less than 20 days old. From the day they were delivered, the airlines had multiple service requests and they weren't prioritised since they were so called "third world beggar countries". This was the exact statement in the mail correspondence within Boeing.
Bird strike isn't going to cause the plane to not be able to deploy landing gear. This was shoddy workmanship of the aircraft by boeing which they now have track record of in recent years.
Tbh Boeing planes are the most scrutinized planes right now so I think that would be most likely be unreliable before the trial but after the investigation, I think it could be better now. Unfortunately for the old planes, it can't be guaranteed. However I don't wanna put the blame on Boeing plane alone for the Jeju Air crash. There were so many factors to consider. 1. 13 flights in 48 hours- which means there could be an issue with maintenance 2. 1 personnel assigned for bird control watch 3. poor airport design- concrete slab at the end of the runway and length of runway did not pass regulation 4. lack of communication with the pilot and airport command centre 5. could also be human error

This Jeju airplane crash was not the fault of a landing gear issue. Professional pilots already weighted in on the issue and said for the type of landing that they were trying to make they didn’t need the landing gear. The issue was the wall that they hit. It wasn’t made out of the right material and didn’t break apart the way it should have when hit by the plane. Other wise the issue for that plane was a bird that got sucked into the engine. That’s not specific to the Boeings manufacturing process.

She has made good posts in the past, but this one, this lady lost her mind and just talking shit. You cannot blame the plane manufacturer for every accident without the investigation being complete. Its a 15 year old plane which would have undergone lot of maintenance checks and the plane might have completed approx. more than 25000 take off and landings. Airlines might have delayed or skipped couple of maintenance activities, or airline technicians might have skipped any steps during the maintenance or might have forgot any procedures during any repair or removal of parts. There might be multiple factors contributing to the accident. We cannot come to a conclusion saying its Boeing's fault without knowing the background.
The airplane landing especially take a heavy toll on the undercarriage and the plane’s underbelly over time. The stresses alone can cause micro fractures in the fuselage which must be often inspected. The landing gear needs to be maintained frequently too. I am however not sure whether they get the attention they deserve during maintenances as many airlines overuse these planes to the max.
@@jayg6434 This particular plane has made 13 flights in just 48hrs, that's totally insane. I wonder if was there any time for basic routine maintenance checks ?
