Back again for January with a little look into some weird and wonderful childhood favourites I'd watch when I was but a wee babby. One in particular, holds a mysterious, powerful history.
HOPE YOU ENJOY THIS MONTHS VIDEO, things have been more than hectic in the Clemps household so apologies for it coming out a little late. Go throw it a like, subscribe if you haven't already and go pledge on patreon if you really, REALLY liked it! :D

Holy... I never knew the show ended in 2006. Then again, I haven't watched children's TV for years, but memories of it still feel quite fresh. I was more into SMTV Live, who didn't have so much kids participation in it (and ended 3 years earlier), so maybe I was already getting on by that point, but the chaotic energy wasn't lost on me XD

the fun thing is in 2006 my school got to send some local kids onto the show. I was so "bogeys" off. Since I was a year younger I never got the chance but the head teacher at the time paraded them in front of the whole school... she would resign as the head teacher the following year. They did this whole skit with the name "Taylorannes". My younger sisters on a mission to find the full episode with them in it.

In America we kinda had a version of Bogies but it wasn't too popular and we would say "PENIS!!!"

I've still got a bunch of episodes on tape. Haven't watched them in years, though, so I don't know if they still work.

Technically the Children's BBC brand began in 1985 and was shortened to CBBC in 1997, when it was just the after-school & weekend morning broadcasting block on BBC One. 2002 was just when they launched the dedicated channel.

Thank you for the throwback to my childhood when I used to live in the UK. It's great when you find a RUclipsr around the same age range as you.

I love how the Charlie Nunley incident ended with
Dom: WHERE DID YOU GET MY NUMBER FROM?!
    Charlie: ...I don't know?
Also DC Harry Batt was one of my fave parts of the show.

We had The Penis game instead of Bogies here in the US. Exact same thing just replace saying "bogies" with saying "penis".

6:32 - I’d have thought they thrived on chaos. It shouldn’t be shocking that the children would act chaotic on a chaotic show

Dick and Dom defined a large part of my childhood, so it’s exciting to see one of my favourites give it a spotlight! Absolutely BANGER of a video; nice work as always!
