My father used to be a seaweed farmer in Hingotanan, Bohol. It was the only livelihood most people in our place relied on, providing for families and sustaining our lives. But since 2015, the seaweeds stopped growing, maybe because of climate change or chemicals in the water. It’s heartbreaking to see our way of life fade away.
For innovative planting seaweeds it should tie up by net bag inside the seedlings and then tie the net bag into the rope in order to have a secure growing of the seaweeds and it will not cut the stem of the seaweed plant.
Here in America and the Caribbean island that is called Sea Moss. It is very popular and healthy. I make Sea Moss gel and put it in my smoothie, tea and also for a face mask. It has 92 minerals out of 102 minerals we need in our body
To prevent looses for the growth of the seaweeds Is you have to put an attoucement basket in order to hold the volume of growth and to prevent looses of It. Whether you used plastic basket or Bamboo basket in attoucement of every seedling of seaweeds or Is Just a net that being design to hold the seaweeds.
