Shakopee used to be a big small town and now I hardly even recognize the place, and now the new construction is reaching down as far as Jackson Twp. Soon it'll overtake Lydia and beyond. All in the name of "Progress" but really it's because the mayor and city council want new tax revenue that they undoubtedly get personal financial kickbacks for.
