BLACK AND GREY APOLLO STATUE TATTOO | TIME LAPSE (Real Time Tattooing)

Apollo is one my favorite characters in Greek Mythology; he is recognized as the "god" of archery, and some of the other arts. When it comes to tattooing mythological pieces I think simplicity should be at the forefront of the design, especially when tattooing statues (which require a lot of detail) in doing this you're able to push and pull contrast, and allow for the small details to really shine.
I completed this Apollo Statue in about 8/9 hours. I took a slight minimalist approach on the design to highlight the key features of the face, and threw in a few a more elements to elevate the overall look of the piece.
