4K UHD View of Hvittrask (Finland) - July 26th, 2024

Some drone footage from lake Hvittrask, Kirkkonummi, Finland. It was a clear sunny morning this friday, hot summer day still building its strength and cool lake breeze refreshing one's soul & body, when I decided to take my DJI drone out on & over the lake.
Hvittrask (or Hvitträsk) is one of the best lakes in greater Helsinki metropolitan area. Unlike these smaller, more shallow lakes like lake Lippajärvi (yuck) or lake Bodom (meh), Hvittrask has very good water quality, rocky(ish) bottom, good high depth (peaking at 21 meters) and generally is not too overgrown with all kinds of green stuff. It is definitely a better lake than that very long lake Pitkäjärvi in Espoo, which is just a bad bad lake. It is not Saimaa of course, but given its location here in deep South, Hvittrask makes one sweet lake.
